For more information see here Bug Report Template Build: 3602 Mode: Survival Mode: Single Player SERVER NAME: n/a SEED-ID: 401582 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: None Reproducibility: unknown (not with other seeds) Severity: Major Type: Temperature Summary: Unsurvivable high temperature in Arid Crash Site Description: In a fresh Arid start, the crash site temperatures were unsurvivably high (174 degrees F). I died to high temperature at level 2 (even using the portable heater/cooler - it cannot compensate for this high of a temperature). It's almost as if a heat wave was coming through, but the weather didn't report a heat wave. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Unknown if reproducable, but including the save file where it happend 2) 3) Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links: Screenshot: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd....icy=Letterbox&imcolor=#000000&letterbox=false Link to savegame: WARNING: go into godmode as soon as you load, as you will die within moments after starting (I am parked next to a heater/cooler, but it's not helping... lol https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vdVuBKd6TgwtBzO2UinLWIXNs7qakPyN/view?usp=sharing
IT happens from time to time that I have pretty intense Temperatures even without heat Waves within the Crash Area. I believe it is a Seed related Issue. (Did not happen to me in my last 3 Starts over the last 4 Days)
I just restarted with the same seed. It happened again. So yeah, it's the seed, but it still shouldn't be that high
A challenge... yes... but not "impossible", lol. The temp is too high for even the portable heater/cooler to manage.... that makes it pretty much impossible (not that I didn't try with the restart on the seed to see if it was a global seed or playfield seed issue...)
I actually get this a LOT on Eden "Jungle starter" I literally spend the daytime in the water up to my neck. Only venturing to land in short bursts until I can get that heater cooler (not part of start loadout on hard on that one) then make a big push to level/gather at night. Talk about slow progression, haha. Night time and the water is your friend. Just keep an eye out for those pesky tellropods.
