For more information see here Bug Report Template Build: 1.14.1 4910 Game environment: pc Platform: Steam DLC Installed: official eu server's SEED-ID: official eu server's If applicable: SERVER NAME: official eu server's If applicable:: Are you using any unofficial mods or custom maps ?: official eu server's Reproducibility: constant Severity: always Summary: despite sv map marker possess an sv icon of its map marker (sv wrackages, and possibly other) , cv pois (wrackages, and possibly other) are using a generic map marker icon Steps to Reproduce: 1)open map with a wrackage of a cv, and a wrackage of an sv nearby 2)the wrackage sv's icon is distinguishable from the cv's, but the cv's is indistinguishable from a station's
Crashed CV's are, for game purposes, bases! They do not have a CV core. so on the map they do indeed have a base/poi marker rather than a CV marker. If you look at the "P" screen for the crashed CV you would actually see that it has a base designator. This would not be a bug as it would be working correctly for it's intended behaviour. But I will of course defer to the devs overall advice on this!
i see so the type of the designator is non existent, neither uniquely definable, but rather the designator is depending on the type of the poi so what about the wrackages in space? are those' designators the generic pois the same due to the same reason?
i also don't understand why do you assume a cv's wrackage's icon being a stationary object's be correct? can you explain it to me in further detail?
This is intentional by design. If you wish to have it changed please write a suggestion in the suggestion forum or on our Discord This will be deleted in a few days Taelyn Community Manager
