I'm working on a simple custom planet, it's nothing really special except it has a lot of fiber and the water level is lower but my main problem is even if I change the value of the SizeMinMax in the playfield, it will mostly have less than 10k of deposits and then you'll see a 300k here and there. I tried changing the values from 15, 20 to 1500, 2000 but to no avail. Is there a way to keep everything around 200k-300k? My other planets seem fine but when it comes to Akua-type (the mountains not biome type) planets it's always like this. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B385pkeDg0R_aVZFeTBJaEwwNWM Hopefully I can get my answer here, thank you for your time!
I have tried increasing SizeMinMax by 2-3x (with values from 12 to as high as 36, depending on the ore type), and I get deposits in the 60,000-90,000 range on the "Rich" setting. I would have to do more testing, but perhaps the game does not support deposit size values above a certain threshold?
The problem is probably to do with the core layer. If the deposit extends below the core layer then players can't mine it. Eleon probably thought ahead and set a limit so the deposit can't be that big. Does your deposit start at zero depth?
I have it set to 0,2 so they're on the surface if you dig a little bit. This only happens with Akua-type. Mountains etc.
