I built a hangar type base. Thought I'd share it. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=831764020
Welcome to Station Alpha Station Alpha, is the first station I created, and the largest. It's guaranteed to not make you feel closed in. I don't know how it would hold up to heavy bombing, but in SP, it can hold it's own. I added 4 cannons and a plasma cannon to keep the drones company. It has 1 huge landing strip under the living area, and 2 enclosed hanger bays on either side. Above the main pad there's living space, with a living room, bathroom, and kitchen. Above the living space is the work area with 4 complete farms. Enough to feed a very large crew. At the top is the main control room. That flatbed ship is 20 x 11 by the way, so there is plenty of room to park. Enjoy!
Hey guys. I finish my first "starter" vilage for one person only lol. it's a lot os materials to build that but it's pretty hun!!
This is an altered base made by making a bluprint of "Abandoned Mine" and removing 3/4 of the original structure.Added HV ramp and outside elevators, two guns and various lighting. Unfortunately I do not know the designer of the POI I altered. Please if some one knows, do tell me so I will credit his/her name. Behold the Deep Space Excavations Mining Station 74 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=859243818 It is empty inside so any one can put any stuff matches current needs.
Hello folks, Here's a tiny little easter-egg style building for all the other lunatics out there The Executive Bathroom What to do when that dinosteak you ate yesterday decides it's time to come out? You need one of these o'course! Built in two pieces, the helipad and throne are separate buildings, which you need to connect yourself. Surely true luxury would be not having to watch the locals getting reduced to warm mince on your front lawn?
Then they shouldn't be ON the lawn in the first place. Gotta keep the riffraff out. And in keeping with the topic of the thread I built an updated version of my Autoshop and Garage.
Due to there being 3 builds in one, I am posing this in all three threads, hope that's O.K. As my first Capital Vessel, I wanted to make a Superman-like character, but then where would I stash the Warp Drive?.... The Body is a Capital Vessel, and the head is a Small Vessel. This is the Launch Platform I made to get to the cockpit . The platform (or a reasonable facsimile) is required due to how tall the man is, and there being absolutely no spare room inside for an elevator! Donut-Man Body: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869605068 Donut-Man Head: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869605012 Optional, yet highly recommended Launch Platform: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=869595193

It's not much, but I replaced the legacy pre-alpha blocks in the Epsilon-ComCenter-MKI and upgraded it to armored steel. Submitted for your consideration / tweaking. --- edit --- Sorry, just re-uploaded the file with a tweak to the "antenna".
Siege! \0/ My Favorite builder. Who has built some amazing designs for me. Love your work and loving the new Fortified-Outpost
I do not understand why not people put containers on the ceiling and just access them from the control panel just to save space.
I don't do it because I like the immersive aspect of accessing containers with my character. In my opinion accessing containers through the menu allows for builds and designs that lower immersion and facilitates laziness in the design process.
