I have trying to complete some of my projects that were nearly ready currently, or quick projects anyways. My latest addition to the workshop isn't the toughest base out there. I was looking for something economical, with a little room to expand inside. I name the base Calm. Spoiler: Pics I realize that I probably should have shut off the weather before snapping the pics, but for some reason I like the overcast skies even though it tones down the image. The Calm BA is part of my Inspiration Traders collection, which the Dream is the designated starter SV. Had to make sure the SV fit on the rooftop pad.
I tried to get my HTC Vive working with Empyrion. While successful, I still need to play some more with the settings. But the sense of scale was just... Wow!
I think I might play some survival tomorrow. It's been weeks since I did it and the reason I stopped was that all I had access to was workshop builds that people recommended (though most were terrible). Now that I have my own ships, I think it's about time I started up a new game with those. Though what I did today? I made a civilian luxury hover. Made from basic starter materials, looks good, pressurized, got a constructor, fast but no pew-pew. I give you the (not 100% finished) Batmobile hover: The FA-006 Envoy. I also redid the control console on the FA-005 Hunter so it looks more accurate/less derpy. Didn't take a screenshot of it though.
"Warning! Enemy troop ship approaching!" Experienced EGS players know exactly what to do: Spoiler They just come close to my BA, hang 100m up and wait around to be abused.
"Here speaks the Customs Officer! Hold your position and prepare to be boarded for inspection! All cargo will be checked for contraband!"
In one earlier game two dinos hung around my base. Even though they just stuck their heads into a wall most of the time I saw them as pets. Made me want some of our existing animals added to the placeable NPCs.

4th and last "Dream". I made my decision how the Gun Turret hurts my Eyes the least. XX-9 (-)- is a lvl 25 BA with a Artillery Turret on top. Build of Armored Concrete and Hardened Steel. Entrance enables to do Maintenance if something got damaged. SI picture added to confirm Integrity. Airtight. XX-9 is a lvl 7 BA without any Turret mounted. Top is still 5 by 5
