My FA-005 Hunter. It's a fairly low-level SV that's cheap, durable, pressurized, maneuverable, warp-capable, well armed with all the amenities of a good Gunship. This baby's my pride 'n joy. Edit: I just noticed that my spotlights must've been blown off.
Scout Base - Next Step - Activating Power. Several Waves of Drones were approaching but after 3 Waves their Commander seemed to have aborted their ordered mission because the remaining Drones turned tail and headed back to their Base. Their Report must have been very disturbing for the Zirax Commander... No Drone came closer than 600m to the Scout Base. I decided to revisit an older SV build of mine, due to me still using it every day as my poi basher of choice. Made this back in alpha 6. It combined sleek looks with extreme speed and hard hitting fire power as well as full cabin survival ability. A pretty small sv but don't be fooled, this thing is solid enough to take out any POI bases while soaking up generous amount of hits and still get you home. Only your piloting skills will determine if you lose cabin pressure or not Previously my reversing thrusters were hidden within the dense core of jet thrusters and rcs that makes up the rear end but no longer, all thruster placement is now legit. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1137133878 The SP100 Adeseus Only uses jet thrusters 1x3x1 It deserved an uodate and some new pics and lets face it I don't think it got enough press for what it is when I released it ^-^
Made a simple and small armored HV, mainly for taking down POI's and explore and resource gathering. Should be able to survive several hits from rockets and Fortifications with homing missiles. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1479447057 Have all equipment and safe compartment for drone launch. Slap on harvester modules or multi turret if needed.
My first CV in a while. Just so you know I aint totally boat crazy https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1479454706 Wanted a small one with everything i want quick to hand, in a sleek design for my current survival game. size 1 2.05 kt
I have completely reworked and refreshed the ZeroG Malo-X! Quick shout out to @Maloverci for creating a platform that has completely inspired me! I seem to have hit a snag today. After doing the rounds of the solar system, I discovered when I tried to warp back home that some jumps are one-way. I am now stuck away from home and all alone. Just me 'n my gunship. There are a few jumps left to take, but they're not possible for an SV, so now I have to find my commandeered CV, take it apart, put it back together in working order and go looking for a way home.
I had that happening to me, luckily I was in a my first CV (the warp sled) and I "only" had to find promethiuem and pentaxid twice to be able to finally get home.
Well, I read to often in the last months about it so I always SAVE the game before I jump to an unknown planet. I don't want to get a "One-Way-Ticket"
Isn't any help out there? Did you leave your CV back before you have taken the oneway route? I'm looking forward to hear, how will handle this situation. I'm sure, you'll find a way.
I had an emergency situation myself yesterday. As i entered the atmosphere of a moon, some unknown phenomenon hit me. The completely unexpected happened. Somehow i was separated from my ship. After i regained consciousness (had to restart the game), i was floating in open space. Spoiler: Full story ... I wasn't able to see or detect my ship. So i had to send out a distress call. Luckily a honorable Captian answered it and saved me. He even took the time to fly towards the moon and search for my ship. I got it on the radar and send him the data to his navigational device. But when we met the shown position on surface, there was no traces of the ship. We soon discovered, that my ship computer activated the emergency protocols and the ship held position in the stratosphere. Unfortunately exactly on the edge of the atmosphere. Somehow the computer must have had problems to decide, wether the ship is still in space (where it would have exedcuted a full stop) or within an atmosphere, where it would have executed an emergency landing. The brave captain tried to get as close as possible, to allow me to get back to my ship. But the atmospherical forces where to strong and he wasn't able to stop his capital ship properly. It always kept moving. So he had to land and we took one of the aerodynamic shaped SV's in the hangar. He took over this mission by himself. His flying skills where extraordinary. So he landed on the dorsal site of the hull of my (very small but brandnew) CV. I had to take out one hull block, to get inside, because gravity was already strong enough to pull me into the depth and to death. (Note to myself: Install a roof hatch). I repaired the self caused hull breach and landed the ship on the moons surface. Of course i thanked the captain of the other ship for my rescue and the search operation. On the surface i startet several diagnostic routines to check the integrity of my ship systems. After this i executed some sensor analyses. They didn't reveal much of the phenomenon, that hit me. All i can say, it must be somehow related to the transporter thechnology our transporter-chairs use. If this is really the case, maybe scientists will develop revolutionary concepts to improve how transporters work. (I will show my brandnew and first CV in another thread soon. Btw: for that kind of adventures, i like multiplayer.)
Well, yes. I looked the new BP up, unsubscribed the old and subscribed to the new Version...I know the word renew was not the best
Check the previous page for the origin and fate of the commandeered CV. It's a Rados Patrol Vessel that I shot down, repaired and hijacked. Sadly, it can't be piloted and took off on it's own to patrol on my behalf. Fortunately, it's on Taroz. The Tattooine-like desert planet that I can get back to and plan on living on anyway.
Thats a fine looking ship you made there! Well done! Btw., are you serious about that bright lit room with the Command-Chair in it? No wonder that owners of that Vessel will only use 3rd Person View..
