Some teasers from my current project. And if you look real close, you might spot something else I'd been working at, too. It's been entirely too long since I tried building anything substantial.
My goodness! This Dining Table and the interior looks awesome! The only thing I spotted was floating high up in the Air
The design outline is different without looking odd. The exterior colors are perfect for the setting. And last, the interiors are believable and the scale is perfect. That's not the easiest thing to do when the walls are meters thick and some of the deco is gargantuan.
Finished the Manticore today. Those big containers hold more than I thought. I actually have an unused one after fitting in every other variation. Here's the central corridor behind the containers.
Could you upload the Manticore? I would really like to use it, seems to be a well done and fitting freighter!
new warp-capable SV. kind of based on a transport place. quite fugly and i think i may change the wings up a bit: Rear hatch is perfect for paratroopers...
Instead of changing the wings "up" I suggest, if possible, to bend them down, about 45°, that gives the impression of actual lifting the weight
Well, I have the prototype Green Hawker worked up in creative. Saved the blueprint and plan to give it a test run in survival. Far left is Blue Hawker as it is on the workshop. Middle is the initial mock up with the idea that I would replace the Blue Hawker. Far right is the Green Hawker prototype. A new look but with the basics of the mock up applied.
Finished up some minor details inside the Manticore today. LCD screens and such. Attempted to make a mining variation to no effect. Scrapped it. Bleh. Made a diorama of sorts with all the "Desert" Series ships, not including the FA-020 Bulldog (HV) or the FA-019 Ambassador (CV) because the HV can't fly in space and the CV is a noob-level one simply for getting from one planet to another for minimal cost (still expensive). Visible here is the FA-017 Atlas, FA-018 Thunderbolt, FA-021 Vindicator and the FA-022 Manticore.
Your fleet shows a lot of thought. The color scheme and some shared design elements gives the impression that they're part of a massive armada. Nicely done!
After reading a post in another thread, I asked myself whether the shrine is too strong for a starting world in alpha 8. Sometimes actions speak louder than words, so I made a video where I took one of my own starting SV designs against the shrine. Though, I am not sure this is the shrine others refer to. At the end, I was very glad this is from a backup of my survival game.
Yeah, great show! Had also a drop but was lucky because my SV run out of fuel and dropped right on my head When you stated "Tearing down the Shrine downwards" my first thought was "did he find the Loot-Containers?"
