Reproducibility: Unable (It's a random, rare occurrence - only noticed it happening once.)
    Severity: Trivial
Type: Error (or oversight) in random creature spawning

Summary: A "Dinosaur" (triceratops) spawned inside my greenhouse.

Description: One day, many hours after I had built this base, I noticed that a Dino (triceratops) had spawned inside of my greenhouse / water generator water hole. Definitely, I had not built my base around the Dino. It was not there until recently.

Strangely, when I came back to my base after a few minutes of resource gathering, the Dino was gone.

The way I figure: The only reason this happened was because I built this part of my base over a lake. And the floor of this room is filled with not only water, but also dirt / ground. I chose this location to build this room so that I could place Water Generators and Survival Constructors on the ground, while still having the protection of the walls of my base.

Steps to Reproduce: (1) Build a base over a lake or other body of water or dirt such that some of the dirt is above the bottom level of blocks. (2) Wait (a very long time) for a creature to randomly spawn inside the base.

I thought I would mention that, while I had looked for an issue similar to mine before, I somehow overlooked this one that may be related:
    Pangolin roommate in my base

Further, I thought it was worth mentioning this line that I see in my game console:
Would the fact that my game was started with Build 2092 make a difference with this issue, despite how my game is updated to the latest?

Perhaps what Hummel replied with also applies in my case?
After doing that, I get an extremely compact grouping of cyan circles or spawnpoints:

I have no idea why it's such a small grouping. I can't find a way to zoom in or out of that spawnpoint "map". This is quite different from the spawnpoint map shown in the Bugs keep on spawning in my floor topic.

    Got it!

I had to load an older save. Too much time had passed since that Triceratops had spawned in my greenhouse, so it did not show up on the spawnpoint map in my latest save.

    Anyway, here it is:

There is a "Triceratopses" (and "Waiting for day" underneath it) right in front of my location in the screenshot. And this is the location in the greenhouse where I had seen it.

Ok, so just on this topic: this did happen only once - so what is happening if the day arises? IF this is reproducible, please send in the savegame so we can check this :)

This did happen only once that I've noticed. But I'll be sure to report if it happens again.

Since I have to check my greenhouse regularly to pick produce, it's unlikely that I'd miss it if the Triceratops (or another creature) reappears.

Ok, please keep your eyes open. If this shows up again, please let us know. (Setting this to non-reproducable for now)
