Mode: Singleplayer so far, probably any SERVER NAME: n/a SEED-ID: any (used 12345 temperate starter planet for video below) If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No Reproducibility: Always Severity: Cosmetic(Minor) Type: Global Summary: Sunlight/moonlight penetrate through earth into underground caves Description: Sunlight and moonlight appear while underground, cast shadows and reflect off of objects. Seems to happen more frequently when under broken terrain as it is somewhat difficult to make happen if you dig under a section of flat grassland. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch a game. 2. Find a mountain. 3. Dig a cave. 4. Using debug menu, drag time slider to select various times of day/night. 5. ERROR OCCURS: you can see sunlight/moonlight casting shadows and reflecting off of underground structures. Screenshots: Video: Seems obvious, but I didn't find any known issues for this under sunlight, light, underground, caves, etc.
I geuss its a bug . . . but than again i've seen it in so many games that i have learned to ignore it.
