Known Issue stairs dont "work"

Im on a 0,9 planet and just can get up stairs. they work just the same as a slanted block would.
this is in creative mode.

 

The 1x1 stairs haven't worked for a long time. I learned to build using the 2x1 stairs wherever possible. It would be really nice if the 1x1s were fixed.

Even worse are the lovely 1x1 curved stairs. I have those on my ship, but I have to jump over them, because they REALLY don't work. Look nice, though!

 

I know its been an issue for a long time, like be on a slightly skewed surface and they wouldnt work..
but it's almost like it got worse again, Im defenately level.. hence I figured to report it.

 

Make sure you have them oriented correctly. If they are upside down, you can't go up them.

 

I don't know if it's gotten worse, but I have no idea if it's ever been reported before, so I'm glad you did. It may be a low priority, but hopefully, now they will get tracked/fixed. At the very least, we will be able to follow the updates (I really love this new bug tracking system they have!)

Yes if they're on a CV that is tilted slightly then you will also slide down them.

The curved stairs are also messed up even worse than the normal ones.
