    1. Green Radiation Fog is too thick. Lightly tinted or no color at all would be fine.
    2. NightVision Green: Enough with the green already. Grayscale would be much better.

Infrared nightvision goggles (red) would be nice. Not that i've ever used NV goggles, they seem rather superfluous when you can see in near pitch-black conditions already.
I do agree about the radioactive fog though. It really only needs a subtle green tint to the fog to identify it as "dangerous fog", without it being overly intrusive like it is now if you just step over the biome border into an irradiated biome.
Since most of the radioactive plants/trees glow blue, a light blue fog could work instead of a green one as well.

This is a GREAT idea. A light blue fog, more a mist. Dredge up some kind of billowing or rolling effect like the wind lines... then tie the weather onset with the background environmental noises dying away. Get rid of the lightning(still not quite sure why that is there in the first place.) Have the whole effect be entirely silent except for the foot-step sounds, the usage of tools/ship components, and the ever so gentle wooshing of the fog. It would be like the biomes of the planet are falling silent because something scary is passing by. Would significantly enhance the mystery of the game and add to the survival feel.

Hooollllyyyy ****. Can we have this already?

I would love this as an option. I want more weather effects in general.

    So something like:

RadiatedFogBlue (still has thick fog and lightning)
RadiatedFogBlueLight (less fog and no lightning like you describe)
    RadiatedFogGreenLight
    RadiatedFogPurpleLight

In fact, the radiation in the water produces a bluish color. It's called cherenkov effect. So the blue fog color would be the most appropriate.
