Side question: Is anyone still getting the issue when you spawn a BP with custom device groupings, all the devices are placed in the ungrouped category? And is there a workaround? I spent an hour making a really organized menu a few days ago, spawned it in on a MP server, only to see everything ungrouped. The strange thing was, I was seeing all my custom grouping were still there, are the count of devices for each group was correct, yet all the devices were still ungrouped.

Today i'm just curious… A) How many of you do actualy fight Polaris? B) Anyone else got an issue of not beeing able to 'move the paste' in creative? Like.. 1. Make a selection 2. Copy/cut it 3. 'Paste' it once (!) 4. No 'arrows' appear to be able to move the pasted selection to actualy place/rotate it to where/how it should be. (with the debug menu open of Course) For me, it appeared in 2533 and continued with a fresh creative game in 2535.
I suspect no one... yet. There's not really any incentive to fight them. Polaris handles almost all trade stations (I think there may be a zirax one on the ocean planet), have no dedicated combat POIs (yet), no drone bases (yet) and no ground troops. They also get friendlier with every drone or zirax troop you kill so it's hard to get them hostile at you without intentionally attacking them, unless you go harvesting their farms or looting their boxes. Polaris is an organization, they don't really claim land like the zirax do. Most of their POI are cheap, disposable assets they can abandon when they've divested a planet of valuable resources. Sounds like the misaligned movement bars bug. Move away from the selection and you'll find the arrows like 10-20 meters away (relative to the size of the structure).

Found a BP of a HV at which the owner placed UP and DOWN-wards Truster on it! First I thought that was not possible. Otherwise of what use would they be?
I found that instead of hitting paste once right over where you copied it from, you need to move the selection box first, then do your first paste click.
Here recently I have been running into some issues with copy and paste. From what you describe it sorta sounds like what I have been running into. I'll be using C & P just fine then one of two things will happen. Either when I click to have the little blue C & P block appear and I scale the selection and hit copy is where the first issues arises. Once I go to paste and then try to move the box/ pasted selection, the arrows don't appear over the selection. instead they are really far away from where I am. Being in GM I'll zoom out and see it in a completely different location. Its annoying but not gamebreaking. Also it doesn't do this all the time. The second one is the most annoying though. I'll be C & P'n then all of a sudden the blue selection box will not appear when I click on a build. No matter what I do just won't work. I can still open the menu up and Click on selection, but will not actually let me place the selection box down so that I can use the controls. Exiting to the title screen doesn't work as the issue will follow me throughtout any game save from this point onward. The only solution is to complete shut down Empyrion and restart the game. Then all things will be find from that point forward. At least until it happens again. Is this sorta what you are experiencing as well?
Got both C&P bugs, too. For the first one i filed a bugreport. The second one arises when i want to select an area, left click the first edge and then hit remove selection as i have canged my mind about the selection. After that only a total restart of EGS fixes it...
Ugh. I stayed up waaaay too late last night working on this thing. It's slow going but I'm having fun turning this into a POI. I'm still trying to decide what mobs I want to use so I built a prison of sorts with alien spawn pads contained in concrete cells so I could get a look at them all in a controlled setting. Spoiler Oh dear! Atlas mining operations seem to have disturbed something. There's trouble in the mine! And a question for you POI builders; how well does the npc AI navigate narrow corridors?

sadly whilst working on this ship all my crops died, didn't know they could do that lol, ,my first major build not sure how to reduce fuel usage and do the electrics to conserve power, but its sure taking shape is 4 rts T2 enough on one side ? wanting to make the ship similar though as when you first find it a few engines missing an armor locker and a few other bits to reduce the cost of the build and have the player develop the ship as the game progresses, my first attempt at a base never even got a look in I hope its worth the effort and people enjoy it, electrics and engines will need an overhaul, eats up far too much fuel. Ro Ro short for roll on roll off, like I said am an amateur so any help to improve on its overall design am ok with the odd sensor that's about it. Increased number of locations for hardpoints to 5 at the front, the top nice and flat to locate plenty of SV,s and ample space in its belly for your hv to easily turn around in case of a big move you can take the glass out and squeeze more in if you require even more of a lift there are 8 small engines that can be easily swapped out from inside with all open access wtf I need to get a job sobs. happy hunting.
As of last I knew, it is totally doable to place Up & Down Thrusters on HVs, but they've not provided any actual usable function since Pre-New Hover Mechanics Era... not even for use in Space Flying Around, so they will just eat Weight, Mass, Fuel, & Device Count parasitically for nothing. I really wish they COULD be useful for being able to fly a HV around in Space on all 3 Dimensional Planes... surely I am not the only one who gets a kick outta the idea of flying a Hover War Tank against a CV for the luls even if it would be a rather suicidal thing to do... it's not like we can't Respawn afterwards.
