The outside cockpit blends in nicely to the rest of the hull! For the inside you could try to carve all things out and build a new one from scratch. Nice mod!!
Love the Fiery Red. The older Vessel still get love. As they served us well and deserve to be well treated
YES! Finally found all Mats to reconstruct the "Pushing" Section. Removed the T1 Gens and replaced those 4 with 2 T2 Gens. Also removed the D-Trusting Small Truster and place 4 Large instead while keeping the 16 M-Truster to have additional Trust available. B-Trust and F Trust got also re-designed. 2 XL Truster for the Rear and the remaining 8 M-Truster as Reserve. All M-Truster are now grouped into a MaxTrust Group. Will see how that works out. Hangar bay got inside Spotlights, a Service Area for SVs and some other stuff. 4 x 320k Storage and later on a lot of Cargo Containers. Compare old front view New appearance Weapons so far Rear view Bridge Hangar with docked Retro-Comet The re-designed Wing-sections
First CV on the workshop...feedback would be appreciated... https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1830490753
Stumbling along with the Texturing and filling the Rooms of my, now lvl25, CV. Drill Lasers brought it there. But hell yeah! Only question is what to do with this metric arse ton of crushed stone... The CV has now about 21kt of which about 1/3rd is his own weight... my "Office" beneath the Bridge and opposite to it the Med Bay
That was more a rhetoric question To chew up an Asteroid and to gather 2-3000 Ore you get also, by using two CV Laser Drills, about 5 times the number in Crushed Stone. I dumped tens or thousand crushed Stones and still keeping about 40 full stacks.
Today I started going through my scenario to fix the randomly floating POIs. There's 800 prefabs, but I think I got most of the floating or offset ones. I hope.
(Project Eden spoilers.) A few days ago I started a new game with the PE scenario, on the snow planet. There is an awesome POI on the planet, with logs (story), I like that. Then I found more in space. These LCD logs with this story add a very good purpose for the game. I really enjoy it, so I hope Ravien you'll add more like this in your scenario. I like it better, when you find these story elements on LCD screens, than just messages pop up with an OK button. The best would be a new PDA log interface, like was in doom 3: You find these PDA devices on the table / ground / anywhere, and you can download its content.
I am also a fan of PE. I started a week ago on the Dead Planet..thats something else entirely You have NOTHING, to eat, to breath, to drink but you are quite alone on the Planet...the last survivor of a full blown E.L.E.... Now I flying my CV, built from the remnants of 4 star-Cruiser in the Minefield.
Gave a helping hand to a "fellow" Captain who got his ship entangled in @ravien_ff 's strange towers on the Crystalline Moon.. His fuselage got stuck in the pike of the Tower on the left So I pushed my CV under him and started to lift and push back and finally he could break free while I was sitting in front of the Tower to prevent him from another unfortunate contact
Did a recolor and rebranding of the UCH Titan in Forge colors (darker grays and two-tone red) to match the original FA-036A designation. It's a nice ship, survival-ready and not overly expensive considering its size. And then I broke the UCH one into pieces to begin the task of turning it into a wrecked ship. Which is taking longer than I thought. I'm almost done with the front section, but there's still two more; with the rear being the biggest. Front. Still need to rough-up the blue textures since they're too new-looking. It doesn't look too damaged from this angle... And... there's the damage. Holes cut right through the ship, top to bottom. Interior (not finished). This is where the warp core was; and blew half the side off the ship when it went. An added bonus is that I used alien armor blocks (the radioactive ones) disguised as regular blocks to make the warp drive's housing emit high levels of radiation. It still needs a "base" under it of concrete and filler blocks with some debris to form a crater, because just half submerging a wrecked ship in dirt and calling it "crashed" doesn't work unless the ship crashed there a few hundred years ago.
my Jinx-Class Explorer is getting a bigger and meaner brother! If i keep the paste you will get a few screens later...
So glad you're both enjoying it! Yes I totally plan to add more storyline stuff to it. It's slow but steady going. I would love a data pad of some kind for in-game storytelling. The PDA is great for many things, but it can be clunky to create and it doesn't feel immersive for some things. I'm experimenting with using lcd screens and traders for storyline and missions. That Ghyst captain needs to be fired!
Yesterday I finally found me in a mood to mount landing gear on my CV and "fill-up" the last empty room. So I built a landing pad, placed the CV on 4-block-towers on each end and started to work on the bottom of the ship. I mined the only two deposits of Erestrum on the moon...now I get 2 Meteorites each day..one of Erestrum, one of Promethium While I collect water beneath my Base I started to consider changing the Truster Configuration again. Those XL Back Truster limit my time in the Air above Planets of 0.85 to 1.13G to about 15-20 min. While have fuel tanks installed that contains more than 75k of fuel. OK, my Vessel has about 21kt in its current configuration.
I believe the last Erestrum gave about 800-1100 Ore. it takes about 15min to mine it, even with an epic Drill. EDIT: aprox. 1100 Ore. Still had the Erestrom of 3 small Deposits in my CC which is 360. Now I have a 999 Stack in the Cargo Box and produced 2 Large Truster...so a bit I reduced the stock.
Those sendings-from Space spares me the embarrassing moment when I try to land AND to Lift-Off from the Planet with 3,6G and my Brick wont lift off
