Are those.... blocks, to the right side? You madman! Either way, post it when you are finished, I am curious to see it.
Yes, these are blocks. Working on it makes you crazy. I even exceed the maximum allowed length by a few blocks. But since it is not possible to spawn this asteroid (base) without admin rights anyway, it doesn't matter. When I'm done I'll post pictures and share the blueprint.
Worked a bit on my new small CV, only 'class' 2.57 as of now (no interior) Just guessing, maybe it'll be around 4.5 when exterior & interior is done (med bay, cockpit, sensors, etc)
I gave myself to the Dark Side...again and build another HV. This time I had some fun doing it as it developed into an 8x8 Scout Vehicle. Its actually a Level 5 but I left enough space on the Bottom to upgrade it to level 8 Hover Engines. I believe I did not forget any "vital" Devices.
Busy pecking away making more stuff to be added to the game. Will hopefully expand a common area that is usually a bit sparse.
The blueprint has some legacy (small) shutters in it. It must have been created before the devs separated the shutters into large and small.
My thoughts too. The -64 was beyond repair and broke when I tried the other I could repair and remove intact.
Fractalite's right @Maverick241 , you -are- a madman! Holy heck, just -how- many blocks is that?? Wait. Maybe you should make it a contest, like how many jellybeans are in the jar? <lol> @jadefalcon Ha! (curtain) , and yep @Kassonnade looks good with a beard, if maybe just a wee bit feral... That's a real beauty of a ship @Sephrajin , the V tunnel underneath and the thrusters are really cool. Always appreciate your efforts & results @Fractalite , looking forward to seeing it! Glad you guys had a clue @Germanicus , @Robot Shark , I might have filed a bug report, heh. --- So my day consisted of what should have been a basic SV build, which went roundly wrong (you'll see... heh). Oh, and managing to cause a bit of a curfuffle which wasn't intended and that I hope @Vermillion won't hold against me. Evidence that I shouldn't be allowed to access the 'Round Blocks' options. It started off with the idea for a simple 'bull-bar'. And it would have been ok.. would have... but it didn't stop there
The asteroid is ready and in orbit it already looks much better. Next comes the base in the asteroid. @StyleBBQ that's a cool idea. How many blocks do you estimate? Spoiler: more screenshots
'No good deed goes unpunished' eh Maverick? Ha! hmm... ok.. 2,301,489 holy... it -is- in the milllllions ain't it?? wowsa. and it does look dang good out there!
That is amazing it takes making a borg cube to a whole other level! Keep that up and we might need quantum computers to even get near it!
@Maverick241 : did you check this mod/ tool ? https://empyriononline.com/threads/empyrion-model-import-tool.10280/
Yeah, and to what Kassonade just linked, there is also Ravien's amazing thread here: https://empyriononline.com/threads/guide-custom-caves-asteroids-and-terrain-pois.46488/
@StyleBBQ you're pretty close. The current block number is 2,234,457. @Kassonnade I have used this tool for this. However, it can't create filled contours (or at least I don't know how). In addition, you can't replace blocks to stone blocks with the replaceblock command. @Fractalite is exactly the way I did it. If someone knew a simpler method, I would be happy if you would tell me. I needed about 24h for this asteroid.
Currently trying to build a Aerotech Recon SV. Started with 30to weight which has now increased to almost 50to after adding shield and Tank. Warp not planned to be added. I think it has enough space to add a Warp Drive. WIP - about 70% finished.
Ok...finished so far...have to work a bit on the texturing side...as always I am a bit on the lazy side. But we'll see The big hatch in the center contains the shield gen and Pent-Tank. The ship is mainly built of Carbon Fiber and with hardened Steal "armored". Only 2 Gatlings mounted so far. On a short trial flight I noticed the sluggish turning so I added 4 more RCS. Plenty of space inside the Hull.
