You can also buy them from certain traders, but they're really expensive. Craft them too but it can take a lot of gold. Or if you're feeling brave, try to take them from these guys. But just ask @Germanicus how well that goes.
Pay attention to the amount of gold they require though for the various sizes. Then also think of how many of them you will need to craft 4 T4 extenders. They aren't cheap to craft, IMO. Especially if they get shot off by a POI and you have to craft more, or if you want multiple T4 vessels of varying vessel classes.
I scrap enemy POI's the same way. I dread the day the Dev's give those falling blocks mass/volume and we get crushed when we pull that stunt.
Can anyone answer, I flew to this system: It was a pretty view! Discovered space was hot and radioactive! Yeeeeeooouuucchhh!! Does anyone know; is the planet I am looking at in the second photo the sun? Or is it a an actual planet? The map/solar system view made it look like it was a planet in orbit around the sun... I suppose there is one way to find out!
Sooooo... turns out, if you try to fly into what I guess WAS the sun, it REALLY doesn't like you very much and launches you away from it at spectacular speeds: You will note the speed and distance in the upper right and left hand corners of the HUD..... Edit: New game start for me tomorrow!
Check the sector and planet descriptions in the sector map. It contains important information about planets and areas of space. That is a "planet" that represents the sun in my scenario. I made them as a proof of concept. There's different types, even a "black hole" can rarely be found. Turn off your ship and it will come to a full stop, or warp to another sector. And wow that's some bug! You broke the speed barrier!
It's funny how many times I have reworked this little thing. It has a much better balance now, I am debating on replacing the factory blueprint again.
Think of one turret as more of a starting point. Every turret helps, but most of the time it pays just to hop into a ship and take out the drones yourself. IMO. Of course, that little SV101 used to pack a shield generator. Sadly, the CPU requirements were too steep to keep it that way. Since SV101 is mostly carbon fiber, if you choose to use her for offense, you should fly fast and not get hit. This base is one I started a while ago, and is reminiscent of earlier designs where 1 turret was sufficient. Currently, you may need more than one if you just want the turrets to do all the work. You can also build little HV turret platforms and park them around the base. Kind of like missile defense systems that are strategically placed around the outpost. Just remember to fuel them up now and then.
The first SV I produced this game too was carbon because it was for scouting and Pentaxid collection on the moon. I've gotten it shot up a bunch of times. Sometimes I didn't even notice until I got out and looked at it. It didn't start with gattlings but I added them specifically for drone interception. I've subsequently blown up the drone base on my starter planet so no more worries there now. I've found the following Snow location so far Naundey moon Zalan Moon Polaera Kaxid I'm playing the standard game but Experimental branch. I started working on my new buildings for when I relocate. I made an independent garden, hangar and turret so far. I was planning to run production out of a Zero G drop base L at least in the beginning. Garden is pretty big. 10 rows of 18 and all on switches. Space out front for HV parking and a spot for o2 production. Is solar still feasible in the snow Biome? I also cleaned up my original SV build to be more in line with the upgraded version I setup. It's still fairly mediocre performance wise and when you exit the cockpit in space it tends to eject you because of the 1 block width on either side of the pilot seat I widened the newer versions fuselage and nacelles by hand before I learned how to cut/copy paste.
I dipped my toes back into Empyrion today and started the process of debugging oxygen and gravity on Nexus Station. I should have left myself more space for those while I was renovating the station because man this is going to take some creative solutions to work out now. I'm wanting a debug mode for gravity more than ever.
Finished the MK3 Zirax destroyer, didn't like it; turned it into a skinnier MK4 destroyer, too small; combined MK3 and MK4 to make MK5, MK 5 has a stupid bridge. MK1 is now a UCH ship. MK2 will be a battlecruiser. MK4 will be a secondary Frigate for a different zirax house. I'm tired of this ship... I wanna build something else. On the plus side, I threw together a cheap-ass tiny mod for anyone that wants to use it. It's called... The Blaster Mod. It turns all projectile weapons into Star Wars blasters. It's purely visual and doesn't affect any stats. It just makes your turrets, hand weapons and those of the zirax into a variety of colored blasters (doesn't include rockets). Has some practical use in letting you see where you're being shot from though. Especially from pesky sentry guns. In future, (if possible) it'll also change sound effects, muzzle flash, item and ammo sprites and models. Download here To use it just go to Steam/SteamApps/Common/Empyrion - Galactic Survival/Content/Configuration and drop the file into there. Provided you aren't already using a custom config, in which case it's a no-go.
Currently I busy myself with upgrading, re-constructing and extending older BPs. The HV in the picture... can't find the space needed to place CPU-extensions .
Our intrepid explorer starts again... Knowing that he must persevere against incredible odds; awsome creatures, enormous space fortresses, the ve... ver.... *snickers* Awwww, look at the cute little p-gens! Definitely gotta try those!
Good luck! Don't fly into a sun this time! Someone skydived onto one of the stars and this was the result:
Sounds like a "Crazy Ivan"...But someone did it not right...in the second you step outside the ship you should hear a sound like a Mosquito hits one of those Lamps *tschack*... next one please
Modified Tyche Industries M-153C "Tyche" so she can lift an HV for example Roba MKII. I hope @TeeWRX82 & @styLmntz . Again I thank both for sharing their creations with the community.
