Mode: SinglePlayer, Survival SEED-ID: not sure how to lookup Reproducibility: Always Severity: Major Type: Warp Summary: Unable to warp to a waypoint Description: I set a waypoint and select it as such. I warp one Star away. I turn and find the waypoint and it turns orange. I increase speed and press warp, and it says no warp point selected. UPDATE: I can make it work in the same star system as the waypoint...however, not from an adjacent star within jump range...is this intended?
SO I placed bases about every 25 LY out toward the spheres of influence. Works great for teleporting. Love it. However, I teleported across many LYs and then did the return 7 jumps using a CV. All are less than 30 LYs (using the base, located on a planet within the system as a waypoint) Jump 1, the waypoint worked fine and jump was successful Jump 2, the waypoint worked fine and jump was successful Jump 3rd, Waypoint would work, got a message saying warp was not locked in. When I found the sectors (which is no easy tsk in a sky of stars) and I entered the system, I tried the local jump using the same waypoint for the base, it WAS WORKING 4th jump Waypoint would work, got a message saying warp was not locked in. Jump within the system did not work using the base waypoint. 5th Jump system it still would not use the waypoint to cross star systems, and when I found it I made the jump and got a QoC error (I mailed the error as always). The jump within the system using the same waypoint was accepted. Jump 6, again, did not accept the waypoint to the new system Jump 7, however, DID allow the waypoint as a locked jump coordinates. as well as within the system to the chosen planet Are the waypoints suppose to act as Jump coordinates>? I hope they are because it makes traveling across the stars more bearable with a past roadmap. This all happened around 530 central time on CV 1622018. If this is a big and there is any information I can give you please don't hesitate to ask. Are the waypoints suppose to act as Jump coordinates>? P.S. btw the Pinger on the detector sounds broken. like a cracked bell now.
ok that was short and more to the point, but, it was on experimental server not single player survival. Sorry, I did nto mention that
