Hi there, any plans to update Galaxy Navigator? I know a lot of people update all these wonderful mods themselves, but I have no clue how lol.
I also not having a lot of luck trying to get the Modhost, or EWA to work on a12.2, has anyone been able to get them working on a12.2?
It works, but only the newes version 5.3.7 https://github.com/GitHub-TC/EmpyrionWebAccess/releases/download/5.3.7/EWALoader.5.3.7.zip unfortunately there was another (unnecessary) breaking change in the ModAPI that affects the EWA and the ModLoader. The (normal) mods have already been affected by the latest changes from Eleon :-(
You have to try if it works well - ok, if not, you can fix it youself - it's OpenSource on GitHub - from my point of view Eleon has been building so much crap lately that I don't want to program around it anymore. Which is why I said goodbye to Empyrion.
I get where Astic is coming from. Some servers would have these mods working on them, but they know how to make them work and don't share it with the public sadly. All I personally really want is the Galaxy Navigator, cause the current method sucks lol.

We have a small server on GPortal and I'm really struggling with how Empyrion does just about anything. The only mod we really want to get running is the backpack extender but no matter what I do, I cannot get it running. GPortal doesn't allow third party bots or software so I can't use any of the installer or admin programs to help me with this. I have it in the right folder, it's showing up with the Dll files and everything but when I go in game, it's telling me I have no mods loaded and if I try to use the command, I get a message saying the UI scroll-able window failed to open and then it crashes me out of the game. In order to get back in, I have to reboot the server, not just my client. Is this mod actually still working or am I getting to a table flipping point of frustration for no reason =/ If it is working, I don't suppose someone could help explain to me what I need to do in order to get it to work on my server?
I ran the BackpackExtender over the ModHost Mod because there are breaking changes in the ModAPI DLL. However, this mod includes an EXE which will probably reject by GPortal - so sorry, but it will probably not work under GPortal.
@ASTIC nice man, thanks for the already updated mods, appreciate it so much. TBH I am looking so much forward to that navigation one, I tried it myself and could only get it to work somewhat in a star, not outside of it lol.
I started with the GalaxyNavigator but the problem / limitation is that it can only lead through known areas, which of course means a huge detour.
Yeah also what I figured. I could also find no way to load all star-sun playfields at once, why i eventually stopped tinkering with it.
Also gave up on empyrion,, but now im running my own server on GTX Gaming and got the LCD Mod to work nicely,, real pitty that the other mods dont work on the GTX Gaming Server. Will you ever come back ? If so feal free to look up my server 194.147.122.159:31020
So we've had a lot of players ask for VB, but since the author decided greed was better than supporting the community, it's gone. So I turn to your mod, but for whatever reason I cannot seem to get it to function reliably. My first tests on a clean client went just peachy. No issues at all. Then I moved it to our live server after testing, and it just killed the server. Locked up the playfields, and no one could join. So again I go back to my private test instance, and this time I copy over the files from the main server. I start up the client, and I type the help commands. Get the windows for those, I think it's all good. Try using the commands, and the only one that functioned was the voting mod. Verified I have the latest files, and tried again, no dice. Now I'm not even getting the help menus for some of them. Attached is my log. Any help would be appreciated.
The mod commands only work within the faction chat ;-) Check also your "[EGS]\Saves\Games\[Safegame]\Mods\EmpyrionBackpackExtender\Configuration.json" and your "saved" backpacks for errors/diff with your testserver I checked it with the current 1.3.3 and on my server it seems to work Unfortunately the bugs of EGS annoy me so much that I haven't played EGS for 6 months - and I don't see any improvement :-(
