Apparently, this GeForce Now is not something I would be using. I'm not into playing on my phone except for Minesweeper and Word Search. Never heard of GeForce Now until.......well, now. Thanks for the explanation @Lars_The_Viking . For the record, I have 6000+ hrs in EGS.
Thanks to everyone for explaining how this works. I hope Empyrion is re added to Geforce Now because it ran perfectly on my tablet and even my smartphone just as long as I had a good internet service or really good mobile service. I never had any issues. What is really a good selling point for those who do not have gaming PCs or a PC that can run this game. The Geforce now is only 5 dollars a month. The times where some people where experiencing performance issues with Empyrion on their PC, I didn't notice any at all when I was using Geforce now. Just something to think about for those who may need to upgrade their PC soon. Shadow Cloud gaming service is another good one.
Nvidia GeforceNow is the future. you can play from your tv, you can play from your mobile, tablet, pc, in the office etc. The number of players that subscribe is very large, many players abandoned empyrion because you need a good PC, but Geforce Now perfectly meets the hardware requirements. I played with my friends on the HWS server and it's going great, you can upload workshop blueprints, you can do anything. It is a great opportunity For empyrion it can grow a lot, and the community can grow like never before
I completely agree. If you're developing PC games especially if you're a smaller developer then Cloud gaming services like Geforce now instantly expands your fan base. Especially the fact that you can play PC games on your Smartphone with these Cloud gaming services. There are a lot of people who only play mobile games and console games using these cloud gaming services now. In my opinion means more money for eleon . I will still play Empyrion on my gaming pc but using Geforce now made things a lot easier. Space Engineers and Elite Dangerous actually Opted into GeForce now which was a nice surprise.
I am very curious to know, how exactly did you learn this detail please? Or is it just your assumption giving a little more dramatic tone?
I think the tldr is : Eleon Game Studios did not opt out from the relevant service. It was due to policy reasons from the service provider. They (Eleon G.S.) will discuss the opt in, if future circumstances and agreements permit this "return" to the service. Correct me if I am wrong. Anyone please.
I player empyrion for a good while and stopped on 2018, was ready to make a come back after I started using Geforce Now but the day I was going to play it, the game got removed. I can possibly play on my potato computer with graphics in the lowest but what attracted me was the easy side of playing in the cloud with better graphics and no hassle. Just hope Eleon find a way to opt in at some point after all legal stuff is sorted out. I would like to go back to space in Empyrion sometime =]
I just found this while googling on the subject ... https://thegaltimes.com/nvidia-gefo...ll-leave-the-service-at-the-end-of-may/13121/ ... looks like it's not only Empyrion they removed ...
what do you mean? they opted in? where did you get that information? my nvidia graphic card is still not working with Empyrion ...
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...d-game-ready-on-geforce-now-thursday-release/ Empyrion is back on the list. Also, open gfn and see that is is back. So they have opted in or it wouldn't have been on the list. I don't know what this has to do with your nvidia card.
thanks for the update! - well, ever since they opted out I was no longer able to adjust my video settings and the whole game was (is!) blurry on my screen. GeForce Experience is detecting a lot of games but not Empyrion any longer. I just tried again and it is still not found. so I guess it has a lot to do with it ... before it was running just fine ...
