Jester, it was my understanding that Taelyn was speaking about release date of alpha 12. I was asking if we would get to know the results of the survey any time soon.
What I quoted from Taelyn™ was specifically in regard to the Survey and when the results may possibly be available. I quoted it so they would not have to repeat the answer they had already given to the question that had already been asked before.
Actually it is a great idea, being able to make a tool mounted on a CV that over a longer period of time (lets say a week or so) would be able to terraform a planet. And to be able to do that you would have to use loads of fuel/energy, as well as gather a lot of special Resources. And after terraforming, you would be able to "claim" the planet on a way that you would be able to see all Resources, and all POIs as well as being able to set out landclaim Devices independant of if its enabled for the planet or not. At least being able to terraform moons to be more habitable.

Combat, Combat, Combat, PLEASE!! Better AI Pathing, npc crewmembers, ship to ship freighter trading and more missions!
This is the reason I stopped playing. Basic combat is so dull and un-immersive that I just couldn't bear it anymore after 1,000 hours. It's not that it's simply because we are still in Alpha, it's that they have been prioritizing other features for so long that I gave up hoping for these improvements (e.g. where is my crouching?)
You asked "What is done?" and I gave you the answer. This is the "survey thread" and in the OP there is a link to the survey. The developers are the ones who will give the survey's results, not a random player. I guess you know how to recognize a developer's post, but I may be wrong...
