I've just left my starter system, went to a nearby system that's not in anyone's territory. I was surprised there were no Zirax or Legacy ships or bases in the whole system, there were Trader and Poll ones. At first I put it down to chance and the fact it's not their territory but then noticed on one of the planets descriptions it said it was a dangerous planet with multiple anti-aircraft defenses, there were none. There were a few crashed ships and some wildlife, ore deposits too. Is this normal? I hope so, it's the third time I've restarted only to find my game unplayable after many hours of gametime!
When you're not in any faction's galactic territory, you'll find no faction POIs that aren't civilian or trader.
thanks for the reply, I've gone into Zirax territory, found some Zirax POI's in space and on the planets, found some Zirax Transports and space drones but no combat ships. The only system that's had any in were the starter system, in neutral territory, nothing anywhere else. I have seen Poll stuff not in their territory?
Far too frustrating to get to the point when you can finally leave your starter system (for the third time in 2 months) only to find there's nothing out there. My starter systems have always been the busiest system for enemy ships and things to do. Well that's it for me, be back in a year or so ( again! ) to see if it works, can't say I'm not disappointed.
You mean to tell us that you left the starter system, visited some systems, then decided to act like that was the only thing you would ever encounter, so you have to take some self-imposed hiatus in passive aggressive manner? Please, stop acting like this is an airport where your departure needs to be announced. How about doing something else like ravien_ff suggested? That is, use a scenario.
Yeah, try Reforged Eden and maybe in a few years you will ask if the scenario actually has an end, it's massive! That scenario is a few years ahead of the game.
