Polaris teleport station

There is a Polaris teleport station on the starter planet that needs an access code but when you try to enter the code from the Heidelberg keycard it self destructs.
Is there a functional code for this teleport station?

 

It's not meant to be usable. It's meant to self-destruct as part of the attached mission.

Is there any future advantage to not destroying it?

 

If you're friendly with Polaris you can use it as a teleport destination from a trade station, that's all.

 

0101, switch first. Can manually finish the mission steps, if available. I use to land at a side wall of it and maybe set up a small base, then have free TP later on.
