    Hello All.
I posted this as a bug but in the meantime my buddy and I want to continue playing. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

My friend and I play coop, PvE on the non-dedicated server hosted on my computer.
We are NOT running a Custom Scenario.

Sorry if this is "wordy", but I wanted to give you all as much info as I can.

We have explored 4 solar systems and put out probably 100 or so miners on different planets.
On our current planet, we have about 15.
The other night my buddy went out to see how much ore the miners produced and he informed me they kept coming up missing. "What the...?" I had to see for myself.
You can see the pin on the map but when you get close, it pops up a message informing you:
Auto Miner Device (T3) is gone. Removing from map.

I went into god mode thinking it was a ship glitch, and even when I approached one of them, it gave me the message and removed the miners.

My question is this; could this be a resource allocation issue?
I know it's not the drones, we're friendly with all of the factions for trading purposes.

I combed over the logs and I see nothing weird at all. FYI, I've been in software development for about 35 years so I know my way around a PC and an app. in case you have a geek answer.

    Here's what I have tried:

I had a custom config file that I used to allow me to use the Furnace and De-constructor in an SV , and I tweaked the guns a bit. I tried removing that. No good.

I transported to one of our other planets, the first one we started placing miners on. The miners were fine!
I was able to empty them and refill them. (That's why I'm wondering if this is a resource issue, I have too many miners?).

I'm wondering if I set this game up on a private server, (my laptop that my Conan server is on), could this fix the issue?

I'm totally lost. Usually when I make a config change, the log file is invaluable. This time it says nothing.

Any and all help would be great.

    I was reading this thread
    https://empyriononline.com/threads/solution-for-vanishing-vessels-new-database.95048/
and I may look in the database to see if something is amiss.

Edit: I looked in the db, btw, this DBeaver is wonderful. Thank you byo13, I'll be using this from now on.

Let's look at the TerrainPlacables table:
Before I moved into the Autominer's position, I can see both of them in the database, lines 35, 36; blockx -10503
    Autominer Before.jpg

After I get there, take a look. Line 35 is there, but not line 36!! My buddy's autominer is really still there but I can't see it. Mine (line36) is gone from the table.

I can't follow this any farther without the game code but I hope the dev's can.
If this is a bug, I'd like to help the dev's find it before 1.0 or there will be hell to pay.

I even tried setting my MaxStructures: 10000 in my game options save, and it did no good, so I left it at 256.

Here are my settings in my gameoptions.yaml in the save game folder.
    Code:

    - ValidFor:
      - SP
      - Survival

    Another update.
While my partner in crime that I play with is on sabbatical with his wife, I replaced a few of my miners. I played alone for a few times and they no longer disappear.
    Weird.
It could have been a glitch of some sort but I'm clueless why. As a developer that scares the bejeebers out of me when something breaks, then fixes itself, and I never know why.

I've had this same issue this past week. It's not a starter planet, I've removed most of the Zirax territory (but we're all neutral now), and those haven't respawned. I put down 8 T3 miners, and 5 of them have been removed. I will try replacing them and see if that helps, but *man* are they expensive.

I've had this happen to a couple of players on our server.

This problem has existed for as long as I remember. Got to the point where I just stopped using auto miners as being far too buggy (which is kind of true of most of this game TBH - which was OK when it was early access but most definitely not at this stage).

Usually, this happens when the save becomes partially corrupted for some reason, after the game crashed, but can be loaded again. You might also notice on the planet map that the explored area of that save, becomes black and unexplored again.

I'm on a multiplayer server that seems to be stable, hasn't crashed that I know of. Anyway, I went back to the planet in question 2 days later to replace the autominers, but they were all there. The five I had disappear were in place, but not showing on the map. I grabbed the mats, picked up each of them, and replanted. Looks like it's all good again.
