Plasma Blaster

Probably a silly question, but I found a Plasma Blaster in a POI, but cant figure out the ammo for it. Is it also a rare drop "special" to find ammo?

 

The ammo can be bought from InterWeap traders. They also buy the Plasma Blaster if you don't want it.

 

Thanks! I had the thought to try the merchants, but acquired it late last night/this morning and didnt have a change to check.

 

Yep, merchants sell the ammo. They have an entry for the blaster too, but never seem to have any for sale. Was wondering where this might be found - sounds like a kind of fun weapon.

 

I found it in a Legacy Abandoned Weapons bunker on my starter planet if that helps. So I assume it drops in legacy POIs

 

Bought mine from a Colonist faction at a Waystation also sold the ammo, in this screen shot the ammo is the green double stack cube, has really long range no stat for weapon spread haven't tried it yet.

 

I found one in a "Burial Chamber" POI.
Never used it though. Has a special place in my vault.

 

Yup, Epic weapons are found in ultra rare containers that are usually found in Legacy POIs and the harder "end game" faction POIs (or at least the Zirax ones, aint never fought hte other factions.)

I am pretty sure you can't. Plasma blaster charges are sold at InterWeap traders.

 

I found it in the "Burial Chamber" POI as well, my new long range fav. That sucker will take down a Zirac Troop ship, and if it unloads before you kill it, one round will take out all 4 Zirac soldiers!

Only place I found with Ammo is at InterWeap traders. He only had like 79 rounds, I went back later and he had them again.

Side Q if anyone knows off the top of their heads - How long do you have to wait for the Traders to restock? I tried going out to an asteroid 3km from the trading station and went back but he was still out of stock. Is based on days?
