I´ve come across this mod recently https://empyriononline.com/threads/mod-empyriongalaxynavigator.92255/ I´d really like to use it, but I can´t find the right way to install it. Can someone help me? Or maybe have another suggestion for some kind of "pathfinding through the galaxy"? Thanks
Seeing as that thread is a year old and has no updates posted, it's probably safe to assume it doesn't work in the current version and never got updated by the creator. Click the links in the thread. Other than that, private message the creator @ASTIC That thread is still open for replies too so you can just ask in there to get the best replies. I'm pretty sure there is no other mod similar to that which has been publicly posted at all.
I once started installing the solar system / galaxy map, but didn't finish it. Especially since it would have only returned one way through the "known" solar system and not the shortest way :-( Unfortunately, the "complete" galaxy map is only available internally in the game, so that I have no way of accessing the information. Therefore the update of the "EmpyrionGalaxieNavigator" is on hold
@ASTIC I think it would be cool even if it only used the star system only that was has already discovered. Better than the paper and pen method I now employ. I mean after all it would show the 'shortest way' on known systems and that is extremely valuable.
