More Production Line Automation - most importantly, the ability to automatically move resources between containers (or at least have Constructors able to draw from multiple containers), and the ability to set Constructors to 'loop' their production so that I can actually take create specialized production lines and avoid interruptions (e.g, from a constructor outputting to the wrong container or a container getting filled up with output goods and stalling production.) With how long production times get, especially for later-tier blocks and devices, I often find myself idling while alt-tabbed and only periodically tabbing in to inventory manage, because production is currently the perfect storm of taking long enough to produce that I can't do much else while waiting, but requiring enough babysitting to stop me leaving my base (which is the main reason I play with Volume/Mass disabled, since container slots filling up cause enough production problems without also having to take volume into account.)
i got a few ideas all related to combat. The ability to crouch/prone/crawl stealth gameplay on foot and in vehicles, for those occasions u want/need to avoid a fight, like being able to crouch/sneak on foot and adding cloaking devices to vehicles. One more thing would be mele weapons. for those occasions u run out of ammo. yeah i understand we have the defense tool, yeah thats the ranged one, but id like to see a melee attack that does a bit more damage at the cost of stamina, wether it be with a talon spear, a sword, or a damn police baton. The point of these suggestions is because i die alot, and i always set it so that i lose everything upon death, when im going in to get my backpack i wanna be able to sneak around my enemies and fist fight them if they detect my movements.
The obvious one for me - is to have a camera block you could fit onto your CV/SV so you could switch to that view from the pilots seat This eanables you to dock more effectively to stations where you can build a universal docking structure for your builds and from my point of view make ot much easier to get in / out of top openning hanger bays, This should be fairly easily achievable....
Another interesting addition would be If Within say wi-fi range - the ability to control a small fleet of ships especially for end game POIs Either lock them into 'Fleet mode' where they all move together or allow the pilot in a CV say to switch to controlling an SV in some limited way (maybe better the othe way around to not be too op) Then you coukd inch in and retreat your main bombing CV say, while doing strafing runs in your SV Or better -- get thta SV you've left on top a building you've fallen down from and is totally out of reach now..
How about allowing wifi to connect to the Factory input? Yes, I know, I can connect with wifi to a container, drag items to toolbar, and then from toolbar to the Factory input. However, what I'm after is that I'm directly connected to the Factory so that everything I pick up goes directly to the Factory unless the item is not accepted by it. Would be nice if I could directly salvage blocks into the Factory...
I want to post 4 requests today: 1. a small one: Hotkey for the Registry. 2. another small one: have the info tab active per default in the system map. It has important info and there is no reason to have it hidden. I even red about some player not knowing it was there and you see gravity values before you enter the planet. 3. a medium one: ore left % for asteroids. 4. a big one: better galaxy map, this includes search by star type, visited, maybe even planet types and resources(obviously only explored ones) and route planing. maybe teleporter range display too.
What I miss the most atm: 3,4,5 way docking. For example I have a smaller CV with a small miner ship in it and want to dock the whole setup on my larger CV (Helios in this case). Or I do have a small cargo ship with 1 or 2 cargo containers docked to it and I want to dock this on my large CV (Helios). As of now, not working.
i think Empyrion has now reached a stage where you need more unique Alien Models one thing i have noticed with the factions is the lack of diversity of the alien sentients it was ok with 3/4 factions now is a bit lacking.... and i keep being disturbed by the large number of humans in the galaxy which is sort of anti-lore --- unless the protagonist has actually been held back by 50-100 years
One quality of life for builders -- -- Sort out the LCD screen issue ie when editing the Cursor becomes disconnected with the text it is adding/deleting -- it makes it so difficult to add/correct text. the bug should be findable as its fairly specific.
All I want is a slight change to chainsaw and biofuel consumption (easy enough to do). Currently it takes around the same amount of time to cut down a tree with survival tool v chainsaw (chainsaw should be faster, so up the damage a bit please.) Second, 1 can of biofuel should last a bit longer too (either slow the ammo rate of consumption, or 2x/3x the ammo amount per biofuel.) This overall change would make the chainsaw a viable melee weapon to use as well. It needs love.
OH, another small one I forgot before: Loot-mode for the multi-tool - take the contend of dismantled containers too (must work with connected container). and pickup of emergency containers (the ones from destroying stuff with contend) to the connected container.
A minor request -- only effects mod-ders really -- That All npc's that have <Dialog> have an ! over their heads -- ie the ones where selectd form the geneic npc adder (ehere you add creatures and monsters as well) -- not just the individually selected npc(s) -- This allows more Creature typoes to be sentient or near sentient - have dialog -- and the Player knows they have dialog. (sort of goes with my Add more npc races/models request)

Lately I have been thinking that (IMHO) the #1 thing that can really help this game 5 years in is...New Textures. Not getting rid of the current set of course, just adding some new ones. Even retexturing an existing structure makes a huge difference visually. It just makes things seem "new". Not to mention all the new factions that are coming into play, and the great community builders are doing a fantastic job. Having additional textures in their arsenal would really go a long way. For them, for us, and for the game. Baby needs a new pair of shoes! (Or shirt, pants, coat of paint. You get the idea)....
Please please add some level of automation to crop harvest. When you have quite a few players online together, having a central farming facility is the most effective way to provide food for the clan. Right now the sheer amount of smashing 'e' makes it an extremely tedious, laborious eye bleeding operation for large farming. Please add a HV harvester module, or automated droid or something to add efficiency to farming. Best regards, Vx
My wish list: - Allow the laser drill to cut down trees (it just makes sense) - Fix the motorbike FPS bug! - Much more diverse range of POI's on planets in neutral systems (exploring gets pretty tedious when seeing the same POI's over and over again). - A capital-ship restore/recovery quest line to bridge the point where the story takes you out of the starter system (A new player may not understand what to do get over this hurdle). It's also tough to get past this point in survival mode without without resorting to a blueprint - For all of us non-cosmologists, a legend on the galaxy map for the star types (a description of likely planet-types in a given system type could be handy as well. Could do this by mousing over the system or legend entry?) - A legend on the System map for the various planet types and other system POI's
