I think it depends on start planet. The Missions: entry changes with planet. don't know if you can get them by going to those planets, i always choose ones with Mission: Default
I think what happened is since you activated the class mission, the default Prologue mission that activates upon landing was deactivated. Simply reactivate the "Prologue, Journey into the unknown" mission and you should be fine.
Okay, you got me. I'm totally lost. You've re-done the Localization.csv, which is great. But, for example, itmStew holds the info for +Item Id: 313, Name: Stew in the itemsconfig.yaml. But where in the hell are you getting that Item to display 'Dino Stew Royal' as the item's name in game? It used to be that you would use the Localization.csv to do that. Now only the "info:" for an item is there. Help?
Anything not included in the scenario's localization file is taken from the default game localization file.
Stuck on "The Data Core". Edit: I regenerated the Titan rear and ran through steps again to fix the issue.
I did the com-relays/IDA rescue yesterday and the code for the core of the final com-relay was not in the pda when i had the "check the core" part; I guess it was in one of the messages, but not in the pda. (the second time i got there, with ida in backpack, it was in the pda) And some waypoints popped up late, not at the same time as "travel to the next relays", but a minute later.
Open the PDA and click the button on the right side that says [PDA Log] It will show all previous chat and dialogue, which includes the door lock from when you first visited the door.
Doh, i think i did not need the core code back at that step, i just had to wait a bit. (I thought i had to inspect the core like on the relays before, but was wrong there)
Finished the Pirates mission: Cloak and Dagger. At the end, I turn in the decryption device to Garrison but I still have the decryption device in inventory. Also, what is the trigger for getting next mission after Cloak and Dagger in Pirates line?
You never turn in the decryption device. You attach it to Kenex Station's com system to intercept their transmissions. The next missions aren't done yet. They were supposed to be in for 1.5, but there's too many other things to do. I wanted to get them done for 1.7, but that doesn't look like it's happening either since there's all sorts of new mod support features and an ever-growing list of overhauls to balance. 1.7 should make it easier for newer players in ship PvE combat since we've been consistently and unfairly buffing the AI's turrets to counter that stupid spinny-ship meta. That meta will be... non-viable in 1.7; Which means the rest of combat will be brought back to a lower baseline.
Yea, that spinny-ship stuff is stupid, but right now it is the only way to defeat some enemies, especially solo... I'm curious how it will be balanced. (and look forward to fights without getting dizzy)
Restarting after latest update, private multiplayer server. We are new enough to the game (and Reforged) that we are playing the opening scenarios... The opening 'find the antenna' quest did not seem to spawn the antenna. Nothing on the radar, and a widening search around the opening hasn't found it. We wiped/restarted server, confirming we picked a planet (Omnicron) that has missions, and same.
If you start a game with no missions on the opening planet, does that mean throughout the game there are no missions, or are you just skipping the opening quest line?
The opening quest line can be done by travelling to a starter planet with the story mission POIs. Otherwise, the only story missions will be the ones attached to the UCH Research Vessel (e.g. Progenitor quests, Object 82, The Dead, System surveys, etc...) It's possible for a story POI to fail to spawn in rare occasions. It's a real pain in the ass, but there's not really any way to fix it except to expand the spawn conditions, which means that it has a higher chance of being somewhere it shouldn't be.
Is there a limit on the total number of Templates you can have in the game? I'm running into a situation where if I add one more template, regardless of whether I'm using templates.ecf or config.ecf, - I get a "too many child levels" error and the config won't load.
