I died to high temperature at level 2 (even using the portable heater/cooler - it cannot compensate for this high of a temperature). It's almost as if a heat wave was coming through, but the weather didn't report a heat wave. IT happens from time to time that I have pretty intense Temperatures even without heat Waves within the Crash Area. I believe it is a Seed related Issue. (Did not happen to me in my last 3 Starts over the last 4 Days)
I just restarted with the same seed. It happened again. So yeah, it's the seed, but it still shouldn't be that high
A challenge... yes... but not "impossible", lol. The temp is too high for even the portable heater/cooler to manage.... that makes it pretty much impossible (not that I didn't try with the restart on the seed to see if it was a global seed or playfield seed issue...)
I actually get this a LOT on Eden "Jungle starter" I literally spend the daytime in the water up to my neck. Only venturing to land in short bursts until I can get that heater cooler (not part of start loadout on hard on that one) then make a big push to level/gather at night. Talk about slow progression, haha. Night time and the water is your friend. Just keep an eye out for those pesky tellropods.
