Thanks, I assumed as much. Btw: it doesn't appear to be just contact with the ground that causes them to deploy. They're deploying on my light mining SV the moment the vessel goes below the surface. I'll test again later today if I get time, but sometimes weird issues pop up during a longer session - which last night was - only to not occur again upon reload. Hopefully Eleon will eventually address the retracted / deployed space taken issue.
One minor oddity.... the Flare does show up in the research tree for me - it's not in any category. It's in the constructor but locked, saying "Unlock in Tech Tree" anyone else seeing this?
@Myrmidon - it shows in the constructor for me, albeit it locked (needs researching) but is NOT in the Tech Tree anywhere. It looks like you've managed to unlock it, but I don't have the option to, which is weird. I've unlocked it many times in the past of course as I regularly use flashing Flares to mark entrances. I'll check whether reloading later sees the Flare show in the Tech Tree, though it didn't help yesterday.
I loaded my game up today and the Flare was still showing as Locked in the Constructors. I played for a while and, upon checking again noticed that the Flare is no longer locked. Obviously there was nothing for me to unlock here, so why it was previously locked I cannot say. Very weird bug though to, it seems, lock random tech that cannot actually be researched.
Can I use those two parameters together successfully? BaseItem: true DeconOverride: Continue I want to further deconstruct optronic bridges.
Should be able to. BaseItem is basically a tag that the item is a factory/Repair Bay-accepted item used in blueprints. DeconOverride is there to allow or prevent deconstruction.
Tell me please. Started a new game in version RE1.7 on Rogue planet. Vanilla's initial quests went off without a problem. Having reached the quest, where it is necessary to visit the trading station, a problem arose: it is not on the planet. Perhaps it is necessary to search in alpha and beta systems?
Thank you. I did test on those 4 components. Seems they are not allowed to be further deconstructed for some reason. Not sure if it is a bug to make a report though.
Bonjour à tous je poste ce message suite au patch 1.7 de Reforged Eden. Avec une amie on a vue que les CPU ne marche pas correctement, je veux dire par la que quand on passe du T1 au T2, le T2 n'apparier pas et on ne gagne pas tout les points de CPU que l'on devrait. Donc ma question est la suivante c nous qui avons un bug ou c les CPU qui sont bug depuis le patch 1.7 . Yes, if you get to one of the regular starter systems you should be able to complete the goals. Most of the alternate starters (Oscatune, Pandora, etc.) present a three answer dialog right after the escape pod landing that warn you off starting the quest but the bunker and cryo facility starts on the Rogue planets don't seem to have that yet.
hi i am going to be honest from the start, seen this game yesterday on my private torrent site downloaded and installed, played for around 4 hours then went straight onto steam and bought it, thoroughly enjoyed it i am a big ark fan but didnt like how there wasnt a story attached as such, so anyway i seen this scenario and installed it, im on starter planet and im building my little starter base beneath the UCH wreckage however when i place items inside base e.g fridge, doors etc i dont see the outline to rotate it so it places correctly only a green box is this a bug and if reported previously im sorry or is it something this old timer hasn't done right ingame options or whatever thanks for any help in advance
Welcome to the game. Are you playing the Reforged Eden scenario? If so, create a new vanilla game and see if you have the same problem, and if so report it as a bug in the bug forum. Before you do that, you can make sure that you're trying to place the device correctly. If you got far enough into the game and created a shield for your base, know that you won't be able to place devices when the shield is on. Also, sometimes devices don't fit next to blocks that aren't full; the empty space is still owned by the half-block for example, and you can't place devices there. You'll still see the green box and rotation lines (red or purple based on direction) but you won't see the device. Sometimes it helps when learning to build to try to place devices and blocks on flat surfaces to see how they interact.
hi stampy thanks for reply yes i am playing reforged eden and this only happens inside base walls i tried placing different items from doors constructtor fridge everything basically you can place inside the walls ceilings and floors i posted incorrecltly earlier its not a green cube its only the green pole that you use for changing angles i dont see the actual item i am placing so i can see which way it is actually facing outside the base its different i can see what im placing even directly under the floor where i hid the core storage boxs etc but inside i cant i have posted 2 screen shots to show you what i mean 1 for inside and 1 for outside im playing on akua starter planet can post seed if needed there is nothing blocking placement checked all inside walls, i ended up waiting till i could make a multi tool and placed by trial an error till i figured how many times i needed to press home for them to place right
