I've traveled and found multiple points of the beginning quest line and used the computers and picked up the tasha data pads but the quest never activates. Which planet are you starting on? And, are you talking about the Robinson Protocol (tutorial) or the Tales of Tash questline? RP (tutorial) is NOT available on any planet other than Akua. Tales of Tash is available on all starts, and normally kicks in with picking up a signal a short while after start. You won't see any info for the quest on the HUD, just a map marker.
We started on Akua and neither questline is working on the multiplayer server. The Robinson protocol isnt starting when we crash out of the escape pods and Tales of Tash isnt starting when i pick up any of the data pads or use the computers at the story locations.
Okay, I can confirm this: we are having the same issue with Tales of Tash in MP. The first log is picked up, and recorded, but nothing happens with all subsequent logs. They get picked up and remain in inventory, until you go to read the logs. Then they vanish. Edit. When this happens, the logs stay at 1 of 16... no new entries added. Spoiler: Another note for further down the questline... don't read if you don't want a spoiler... We were also able to get the keys from the Font of Knowledge, but no other log entries.
Okay, we didn't use Default MP Scenario. We used Default Random. If the OP did as well, you don't need to research: that's probably the issue?
Mode: Default Multiplayer So i think he is useing Default Multiplayer If you are running Default Random, then please write a new bug report since thats for @Hummel-o-War . This one is for me
Fixed NEXT update Does not require a full wipe. New players will get the tutorial popup Existing Players can start it from the PDA (F1) > Turtorial > Robinson Protocol (Tutorial)
