    Type:

    Summary: Turrets fire on targets regardless of target settings.

    Description:
    Turrets on bases, CVs, HVs and SVs ignore target settings, i.e. turret fires on predators even is they are set to ignore them.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Spawn a blueprint with turrets.
    2) Edit settings to ignore certain targets.
    3) Watch as the turrets fire at said targets anyway.

    What NPCs are they shooting at? Some are classified as Alien instead.

    Thus far they have fired at spiders, raptors and alien insects.

    I'm seeing this too! Turrets will target ALL 'animal' type creatures... Regardless of setting on or off.
    The whole "Predator" target group designation seems to have gotten borked? I at least have yet to find ANY 'animal' type creature (edit: except the obvious 'prey' type animals - 'prey' seems to work) that turrets will NOT shoot in 1.9!? ... This used to work just fine iinm?

    Turrets on CVs behave strange lately. And today non of my 4 minigun turrets shot at the zirax drone right in the firing arc. The right targets were set and they were also on

    My turrents one on a base and the other on my HV are aslo firing at predators with the predetors setting disabled. Now build 1.9.13. They are not killing prey though so thats something...

    After some experementation, i was able to toggle it to start/stop by toggeling the NPC Factions (while Prey and predotors remained selected off), for the Telluropod. My base is located within the Talon territory if that has anything to do with it.

    Got this issue on my turrets as well. Maybe it only affects older blueprints? I haven't built any new ones yet to test.

    Just to clarify, did you turn the NPC Factions setting off and then back on again for turrets to stop firing at predators? I still want my turrets to fire at NPC factions, just want them to obey the off setting for predators.

    Well,
    Maybe - I started from the stock "Frame Module Concrete" blueprint. I was atempting to try out the tutorial that says you can use it as part of the tutorial. The tutorial did not work with this blue print which may be a related issue in that something in it needs to be updated to work with the tutorial...

    NO, to stop firing at predetors I just turned NPC factions off, when i turned it back on they started firing at predators again. ... its NOT what we want!!!

    Verifed this bug is still occuring in a new game in build 1.9.14

    I can also confirm that this problem still remains in build 1.9.14 4139.
    I have also verified that this bug not only applies to blueprints, but new structures built from scratch as well.
    I have also tried a fresh install of the game, yet the bug persists.
