    Build: 1.9.2 4016
    Mode: Creative
    Mode: Single Player

    Reproducibility: Always
    Severity: Minor

    Type: Texture and color tool

Summary: Painting a structure using the replace mode of the texture and color tool can generate a CoQ error if a console with a holographic display is present

    Description:
We've been seeing CoQ errors when mass-painting ships. The issue seems to have something to do with the presence of any of the holographic consoles, including the repair console. The mass-fill will generate a CoQ when it encounters the console, at which point the color conversion stops. After that point painting and block placement becomes buggy until the save is reloaded.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start a creative scenario
    2. Place a base starter
    3. From the Consoles (Deco) collection, place a Media Center (or any other console with a colorable holographic display)
    4. Equip a texture and color tool, and set it to:
      1. Texture: none
      2. Color: pink
      3. Replace Mode: Checked
    5. Paint the core block. You will see a CoQ dialog and an out-of-range exception will appear in the console.

It paints partially the ship with the selected color. All you have to do is load the save again.
