I have uncommented the EnableVolumeWeight and changed it to true in the gameoptions file of the default multiplayer folder. It still is letting players go over volume, even after deleting save files and restarting.
Pretty sure this in the game Options. I have it enabled on my server, and I can’t fit 3 warp drives and 999 steel plates into a cargo box there.
Like @IndigoWyrd said, I checked it in my options (it is set to false by default) and it works fine for me. There is one exception I noticed; the container I had marked as the output for one of my constructors was allowed to go way over in terms of volume when I was mass producing concrete blocks for one of my saves. But if the max number of slots is reached the constructor simply stops producing until a slot is cleared up. This is on single player, though I cant imagine volume and weight being any different.
If i'm not much mistaken, the Default value for M/V is off, thus deleting the Default line makes no Change. Instead, you should have changed that line from false to true. hth
I didn't delete the line, I deleted the # that makes it a comment. I missed a space after it though, it works now.
So ya reviving this dead thread because I'm now having this issue also. Only thing I changed in the options was the turret underground check. At first I thought it was a one time bug as I was refilling my fuel stocks at a trading center, but when I went back I noticed my refined pentaxid box was technically overflowing with refined pentaxid also. I check my other **** after multiple server reset and the Volume limit seems to be off. I'm post my options **** and see if ya'll notice anything. This is a multiplayer server btw.
