For more information see here Bug Report Template Build: v1,10,1 Build 4233 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: HomeworldKrielMoon (standard with game) Reproducibility: Always Severity: may only affect my scenario (but dont know if effects vanilla game) Type: Summary: In the Playfield Folder : HomeworldKrielMoon is missing all .yaml files (there are .bin files) I was uuh using this moon in a scenario - the mod crashes on start due to missing playfieldstatic.yaml file i checked in the Playfields folder and it only has the .yaml.bin file (not the uncompiled bersion) presumably it was there in previous versions as i didnt have this issue As far as i know only affects my scenario ... but as all other playfields have .yaml files i cant be sure (edit: have worked around for myself - found similar moon as replacement -- but may effect others as any scenario using this moon in sectors file will crash) =========================
Thats fair enough, but there are still .bin files hanging around its mainly just information if it causes issues in the wider galaxy generation or was accidental deletion i suspect more that someone accidently moved the file instead of copying when creating other moons (it happens) its a slight pain to anyone who might have used this moon in a scenario instead of copying it to the local folder Also as far as i can tell is the only playfield with this issue it may not effect anything in game, i don't know if the Galaxy system uses the moons etc randomly or cares about the original .yaml files --
Actually we entirely removed that playfield in 1.10 intentionally - not moved it around. I just checked it and when verifying the files, no .bin files are loaded. So when this is a savegame which had the moon already created, that should not be a problem. Otherwise you should be able to delete these files and verify to fix the issue, IN CASE you do not use an own local version of these files.
