V 1.10 does not allow collection at distance from the ice cap. This used to work pre v1.10. Now it results in "You cannot do this near the poles." Steps to Reproduce: 1) Start new game, since pre-v1.10 saves have issues 2) Head north, and try to collect Cobalt bearings 3) Find most of them cannot be harvested
I don't know about OP, but when I tried to gather cobalt rocks on Akua in the region near the pole the game said it was a "Tundra" biome but kept telling me I can't do that near the poles. I ended up having to go to Ningues to mine a deposit there instead.
