Many base devices do this too, it's not limited to water extractors. I've had things like furnaces, fuel tanks, etc disappear.
Oh wow, I had this issue back in 2020 or so, which was part of (dozens of reasons) why I stopped playing. Still happening after all this time, huh... (Or was it fixed, but then came back?)
