Unfortunately, our server was recently shut down (LOTS of work down the drain, sadly) due to the admins being butthurt that we destroyed their base. Anyhow, does anyone have any good recommendations for servers that plan on sticking around for a while? We'd hate for the discouraging effects of yet another server shutdown/wipe. The first one was demoralizing enough. A server with a solid PvE start and PvP options would be ideal..

Sorry to hear about your experiences that sucks. Been through a lot of that myself. One of the more larger servers available right now, HWS, has both US and EU servers, and eventually will allow inter-connectivity to both servers. They have a 2 man dev team which owns the server and makes their own modifications to the game, some which is being implemented in the next patch! I've been with them now for a few months and can say they really care about the server, and put as much effort into it as you guys did for your past servers. Worth a look at least.
