Just wanted to pipe in here and say that the primary admin did a HELL of a job recreating Star Wars world in the Old Republic timeline. My guild has been splitting time between here and the Empy Life server and with a bit higher stable pop this could easily be one of the best servers out there. Help'em out and give it a try!
Just jumped onto your server on Taris. Nice stuff so far, looks like I may have found a home. one quick question, Taris and some others are listed as PVE planets, does that mean no PVP on them? I dont have to worry about building a base to defend against players on Taris correct?
This is my first time setting up a base on a multiplayer server. Since there is no PVP on the PvE planets, I should set my turret to NOT shoot players correct? Sorry for the stupid questions, I just want to make sure I follow the rules
Doesn't matter if you do or don't; they won't fire on a player on a PvE pantry and even if they did they wouldn't register any damage.
I like it, though I have one question: Is it possible to change starting planets? I accidentally chose Tatooine, but I meant to choose Dantooine.
Love the server. I created a research station to study the rakgoul (spelling isn't my strength) plague. Going to make a few public medic stations soon to help people who start here on Taris. On another note, do you have a website or someplace where we can make a donation to the server?
I think this server is dead. His announcement post was June 23rd and the server disappeared from the list starting on July 24th. I PM'd him but early on the 24th but have not seen a response. His server was rented from nitrado and I am guessing he either forgot to charge his account for the second month or just decided to walk away. Sad that I spent a week digging out a mountain and making a nice base.
You sure? I looked and I still dont see it. I was searching for "KOTOR" when it did not show up in my history section and I still dont see it.
Nevermind, apparently there are TWO Old Republic servers. This whole time I was talking about the Quality Chaos Star Wars Old Republic server, doh! Saw some guys just opened up a Star Wars Galaxies server too.
I think you were on a different Star Wars server because this server had kotor in the name. If you look at his initial post, he listed it as: Server Name- Star Wars Kotor After I played on it once and built a small base, I would just filter the server list by the word kotor and find it. I played several hours on the 23rd but starting on the 24th it no longer appeared in my history and I could not find it using the filter. I hope nothing happened to the guy, he has not logged in here since the 14th.
