Hello, I can't use PLAYFIELDS tool on lite version. It is not printing right config and When i change something it freezes entire tool with crash. I tried to activate FTP (with FTP server installation working on SEVEN) but tool say that we can't use PLAYFIELDS tool with FTP activated. Any solutions ? NB : I am going to see for full version buying...
Hey, do you mean that you cant open the Playfield Dialog? I just checked it and it seems to work, so i think it must be something else you mean. With FTP it sadly does not work yet, even though with the last changes that might be possible soon. What exactly do you try to do? Can you send us your logs? Well, it is the Playfields tool on Function left folder. It seems to read the playfield.xml from your config tool but not from the game. Or i missed something somewhere ?
So i guess you mean this Icon here or? : So when you klick on it he does not read all Playfields? That should have changed with 1.19 (before he just read the Playfields that were visited once). With 1.19 he should read them from the sector file. But this only works when the tool has direct access to your Game-Folder (so not with FTP). I'm sure someone has gotten this to work, but with the nitrado servers, my understanding is that the EAH folder is to be stored and run in the nitrado filesystem, not my local box I use to access the server correct? Assuming this is the case, how do you run the EXE? As far as I understand, you can't Remote Desktop into the nitrado server, and you can't run the file over telnet. I have no issues remoting into the gameserver using filezilla (for ftp) or PuTTy (for telnet), so I know that the connections should work, but if I have the EAH folder on my local box, neither the telnet or ftp connections for EAH work to connect to my gameserver. The tool itself appears to be a great resource for the community and I'm grateful that it's available, I just can't get it to work, and would love some assistance.
From what im understanding, you will have to use a full dedicated server station, not a virtual server, to run a remote desktop using these programs. My old host prohibited virtual desktop as well so was unable to use this feature.
Hey dannienuc, the EAH Full version don't run over such hosters like Nitrado. You need full Remote desktop access to that dedicated / virtual machine. We thought about a cooperation with Nitrado but hadn't time till now. The EAH Lite version is compatible with Nitrado. You just need the IP / FTP address of your Nitrado server. These informations are placed in the Config of the tool. If you need more help (Teamviewer, Skype, Steam). Let me know.

Seeing some weird information on my 'structures' window in EAH. Do you know if this issue was ever fixed, and I need to wipe any files?
Hey Stim, what Version do you use? You should have recieved an eMail 2 days ago with an update that fixed the problem. Did you recieve it? Does it still make problems? (only active structures, there might be some deactivated strange structures left for 2 days.) Did you change the Version in the config to Alpha 3.0? I'm on version V01.20.2 Full I checked again just now after restarting the app and the server, same issue as above. However, I fixed the issue...when I upgraded to the latest version, I kept my old config directory, so I wouldn't have to plug my config info back in. I'm assuming that config folder also contains the structure data, which is why it wasn't working properly. I'm all set now, able to see live structure data on my server.
Happy to hear that. Yes the structure.xml contains all the Structures for the tool and might have had still some old ones.

Because of the patch 3.0 there are currently a lot of bugs / problems out there which this 1.21 release tackled in first place: Telnet Flood Protection Lately the Game sometimes sends extreme telnet messages that a client is not connected. this will eventually make the tool and server slow. Therefore an automatic restart will be done by the tool (if activated in config) Crashed Game prevents auto restart also this is annoying... some process of empyrion still active and restart does not work. therefore we kill such process from now on and ensure that the people can play even when you are asleep CB:Shutdown If you cannt connect to the server anymore due to Game-Bug freezing the server, CB:Shutdown (only actiuvated for Admins) will initiate the 5 minutes shutdown. Structure warp: YES! Its here. Devs implemented the telnet setposition function. This was neccessary because so many ships are in the pole and the server gets problems even playfields crash due to that. That made it also possible that we could activate the "Pole Control Warp" for structures which takes a lot of ingame Adminwork away to get them out agian. Activate it in the config Please only activate after next Empyrion patch (not public yet). Only then it works. Its working with the new "telnet setposition command" Better Backup Ships Since we had to get many ships out of backup, sometimes from the same location we also made this function easier by keeping the window and last selections open. Hope that makes it easier for you. Besides all these "protection" functions we also finally got CSW (Cross Server Warp) to 100%. We fixed the last bugs hopefully. But so far it runs very nice. Enjoy! I dropped the money for the Full version, and have never looked back. Absolutely astounding front end for the server. Makes administration automation, editing your server a breeze. Support is astounding too. Would recommend this to any server admin.
