Ribwhiches...... 1 bread, 1 ribs, 1 sugarcane and 1 honey. The sugarcane and honey make the bbq sauce.
In general I like it, but from a practical point of view. I just make veggie cans. Last long and give nice food value. There is no real alternative that comes even close to that (accept canned meat, same thing, but you have to have meat for that). I would make a more balanced outcome where some have high value but short spoil times and the other way arround. Also Canned food can be grown at the base / CV, so no need to gather stuff from the field (or hunt animals). I would make the best food items a mix of grown stuff, hunted stuff and harvested stuff from the field...
I still want my Sweet Potatoes. Seriously though, Potatoes are a hardy crop, which a survivor would want to plant. There's a reason it is the #4 most prolific crop on the planet just behind Rice, Wheat, and Corn. Meat and Potatoes is also a staple diet, and so many ways to combine them to keep meals interesting like Fries with your burger, Shepard's Pie, Pasties, etc. There's a few medicinal uses, among a few other uses like as a cleaning agent, and rust removal.
I personally would like a non-food game mode. Sometimes I want to play without making cans of meat sauce.
Could the Veggie Burger be changed, so that it doesn't involve having to kill an animal for the cheese? You know, for the "less violent" among us? If you could get the mule milk without killing the mule, for example...
Hmmmm.... Mining Terrain Removal Rock Removal Rock Filler Rock Flattening And Milking I cant stop laughing atm.. I mean why not tho right? Its already like the most advanced tool in the game. May as well put some suction cups and a pump on it
Know how ya feel there, especially when those Lizard Mules are such chill dudes. I've been tempted to Farm Raise them & have them as Pets before... (Still trying to work out how'd i'd ever manage to Pasture & Raise them inside an Underground Base...) While we're at it how about a Lizard Mule Tooth Brush so we can brush their Teeth with it for good measure?
Can you enclose them like with a fence as in Minecraft Chickens, Pigs and Cows??? That would be so nice.
I've never tried. Without a way to Milk them to eliminate the need to kill them for their Milk, such Mad Empyrion Science Experiments would have no use. (Not to mention how would one Herd them?)
I think it would be hard, but possible, to herd them, if you were on a MP server. You would need to build a few "moving walls" (HV / SV), and use them to control their movement, once you found a herd. But I don't think it's possible on your own, as you would need several such "walls", and keep moving them.
Newest update. Fiber is now grow able. Thank you Devs!!! Can we please grow corn dogs? I'd love see higher numbers in food stacking. Cans could go higher then 20. While I'm at it, can you please extend the length of spoiled foods in a can? I think I've cornered the market on farming. Under the steel is the farm. It's now bigger. Inside the farm And my newest space farm. The top 4 wings are all plants I will never starve piddlefoot! (I'm not really a veggie eater in real life, I prefer meat)
You should advertise more, I'd definitely settle near your farm. As soon as I figure out how to grow rum, we could trade.
You should design it where 1 light covers 9 plots. You have too much overlapping lights, and as such, way too many lights
3x3x3, yes. The trouble with that is it leaves dark areas at the edges. I could cover it with lights. Frigidman, do the grow lights take up more power then the normal lights?
Yes. And they impact performance just the same. You should put in a suggestion that the 'purple' haze expand out a bit more to cover all 9 plots more evenly They once DID, but with a lighting change in Unity, the drop off became sudden and sharp as it is now.
