so it will start on default config. i can changer the NAME of the server but as soon as i try to change any other config it loads, then stops....

Ah, okay. Well, I actually DO run it on a dedicated (hosted in a NOC) win 2012 server.. It is a Codero box, 16g ram, etc etc. maybe I can help?
