I think there is already a bug report filled for this issue.
For the first part, you can just disable and play with out issues at all. The last is known and we can only wait for them to activate it some time...
You can play multiplayer that has EAC disabled though. Same goes for co-op.
Seems to me like adrenaline boosters, injections pills coffee etc are back to business. A slight balance might needed though, we shall see.

Sorry I did not know that. I noticed that when I do not see the lines I just zoom on the system I am located, click it and they appear again.
