Which territory is it in?
You'd need to get ahold of an admin on the server you play on. Check to see if they have a discord listed, maybe in the server info.
If you check the playfield description it also says this.
On the galaxy map, turn on show territory. You'll find Polaris in either neutral or Polaris territory mostly.
The scenarios will need to be updated. I don't recommend resuming any save game until it's updated.
Check the territory.
Use a weapon model meant for players. The NPC weapon models are not held correctly.
Terrain stamps can't currently be included with a scenario.

Can you share a few screenshots of the ship and the door you're trying to enter? It's the small door with arrows pointing to it labeled airlock
It depends on faction territory.
If you captured it and then changed your faction yes that can lock you out. You can use the gm iv command to change it back to private.
Sounds like regeneration is turned off and someone claimed the poi and locked everyone else out. Talk to an admin on your server for assistance.
That would backfire so hard.
None of us know what the dev's finances are like. I'm sure that they have considered all their options and if they felt a paid DLC is the right...
