It's a game bug. You should be able to pick it up with godmode invisible.
There is no external way to view unused icons or models. You just have to go through the configs and find items and look at them in-game to see...
If you move the camera closer to the star in the galaxy map, you'll be able to select and lock them then. It seems that you can't select stars...
This is now fixed as of a few minutes ago. You might have to restart Steam or wait for Steam to properly sync, however.

I can only see one of your attachments. Do you remember what Reforged specific blocks you had added to the base? Things like maybe a quantum CPU...
