Month pass in Earth orbit as the Terran Empire as they have now dubbed themselves is building more ships to explore space in other systems as well when AEGIS command gets the news the Hyperion has been destroyed by Zirax warships. Knowing this was mostly Aegis fault they took matter into there own hands and after much success the Volga class was now combat ready! JUNE 11, XXXX Earth year, Earths orbit. After much anticipation five Baikals and four Volga warships where ready for battle, as the Terran's put a hold on there next "adventure" to the star system where the Hyperion was destroyed, Aegis launched its fleet of warships back into the fray commanded by Tactician himself aboard the Volga class Genisis, a custom variant of the warship he personalized. Now sot for battle. June 11, 12 Hours later, Empyrion sector. After jumping out of warp they land right infrom of what was left of the Terran fleet, but no sign of the Hyperion. After going closer to the planet, a small Zirax fleet was approaching them raring for a fight, so the Aegis fleet engaged them head on and in the ensuing fight one of the Volga war carriers got a automated SOS coming from the planet what looked like to be an escape pod and planed to rush to it after the battle, if they where to survive! A few hours later the fight and the loss of 1 Baikal and heavy damaged Volga, the fleet regrouped hiding behind the moon and sent in a landing party to look for the Hyperion and any survivors. After dodging Zirax patrols for a few hours more, they went planet side with as much EVAC pods and fighter escort they could muster and found the first signs someone made it out alive! But no one was to be found inside, what happened to the Hyperion and its crew, and how many survived, and what will be the fate of the galaxy with Zirax taking it over one planet at a time!? fin This part of the story switches to the player, as "you" play the game. enjoy 8.0 everyone!
