Not sure if anyone mentioned it, at least search did not return anything. 1. A sensor that triggers when it detects light i.e. from the sun. 2 A sensor that triggers by time of the day, i.e. to turn on the lights after sun sets. Both or one of these, or maybe special lights that turn on only after sun sets or at specific time of day. For more sophisticated, lights with ambient light sensor dimmer.
Idk if it has already been mentioned, but i'd LOVE to have some sort of ambient sound. Even if it is just a constant humming throughout a ship/base. It could have various settings, like hearable at the whole structure (best for ambient sound) or only hearable within a certain range. A volume setting would be nice too. This would add so much feel atmosphere to the game, much more than some new graphics shenanigans. They say in movies 40% makes the visuals and 60% audio. (sry bad english today)
my only wish list is to phase out of the turrets we have now and make more sleek ones that could interact with block objects
Lots of great ideas, many I totally agree with and I am very certain can be implemented far easier then a certain engineering game. So that's my point. Emypion is fun to play, fun to build and crazy fun to drive craft. Don't get overrun with weights, thruster placements, gravity and inertia requests. It doesn't have to be hyper realistic. The ships fly fine, maybe do something about needing 25 stabilizers per craft but I fixed that by adding cv parts to my SV. I want to build all crazy and unrealistic and not worry about proper damage calculations and whether my storage containers are balanced. Keep it fun. You will have the highest player retention by adding functional blocks, sensors and automation to the game. Let the build come alive and actually have some use in an RP environment, but keep it simple. I don't want to be an Engineer. Thanks for listening. Amazing game.
- Some kind of a terrain flattening tool for an HV classed vessel - Dedicated Cargo Blocks and Docking Pad for SVs and maybe CVs
With my recent restart in single player game where it seems there are hordes of predators for some reason I would like to see a motion sensor mod for armor (heaven forbid another item to store in my inventory) that would highlight prey and predator entities on the radar and make them the same color, blue dots perhaps. I would accept just predators but truthfully how would the motion sensor know the difference.
Doors that are transparent and are airtight. Just better looking doors in general I suppose. These doors have the exact same moving parts and cost. Why do the non transparent ones have magic seals and the transparent ones don't?
I've said it before, I'll say it again . . . T2 RCS for HV & SV. 200+ RCS for a mobile mining base HV, or a luxury SV is a bit much
1- Multi Tools Turret (HV & CV)/Mounted (SV) with Area-Of-Effect and longer range. 2- An added functionality of the current Repair Panel/Console to just Deconstruct the entity place above it and store the blocks in it's storage.
Wondering if since there has been a lot of combining of blocks and block groups, making construction a bit more organized and giving us more options and room for more devices in the constructors menu's Is there a possibility to get different sizes for the working radar dish? 2X2X1 doesn't quite fit well with most builds I have seen and with balance being needed when building a HV having different size options would be nice for the radar and for gun turrets. And if possible can we adapt some of the antenna for a similar purpose? Could we also get 1 or 2 alternate looks for the food processor? I know these are just visual requests but at the moment we have quite a lot of devices and features that we have to see how they interact with the latest series of experimental patches
I'd love another size gravity generator personally. Something flatter and longer but odd sized. 4x3x1 maybe. I have a ship I'm working on now that only needs one and I'd like to put it right in the middle but I built the ship with the the mirror plane down the middle of a block instead of in between them so the current gravity gen won't sit nicely in the middle. It's off center. Bugs the hell out of me.
Could we get a fixed main cannon the size of a warp drive as a center piece for battle ships? I currently have a 3x3 array of fixed pulse lasers acting as main forward facing battery, but they lack the punch of anything worth the phrase, "I'M FIRING MAH LAZZZZZERRRRR!". So yeah, major wishlist item = Yamato Cannon
Yes, please. All doors and windows should be airtight. We already have them in the 21st century. We had them in the 20th. So it makes no sense that they wouldn't be in the 24th. Did we lose a bunch of technology along the way somehow? Sorry. That boat doesn't float.
Dead plants version of the deco stuff, it's hard making a deralict ship or destroyed base and haveing nice bright well watered plants.
We actually need both, because non-airtight doors allow us to oxygenate two or more rooms with one ventilator where needed... If all doors are airtight we'll need a separate ventilator for each room, if placing one ventilator on the wall between two rooms is not an option...
