Sometimes it will just get stuck at 'connecting' other times it will make it to 'loading' and sometimes even to the 'choose start' screen. It never successfully connects. Steps to Reproduce: 1)Be an epic games customer 2)Connect to any multiplayer server eg official 3)wait, wait, wait, then wait, then fail.
There is nothing in your logs that tell us what the issue might be, most connection stuff if hidden due to security reasons The ping errors are normal with epic games I just tried it with Epic Games and can connect without a problem,. This could mean you are blocking ports in your router that are needed or your ISP / Country is Try with a VPN if that works then its your ISP / Country that is the problem If that doesnt work you have to look into your router settings that your not blocking anything
It turns out it was my ISP. I was able to connect whilst tethering from my phone. The ISP seem to have blocked it without telling anyone, which is awesome, because it means the 10 or so hours I was trying to get this to work, the ISP that I was paying was laughing in my face.
You are not the first with this issue sadly If its an options maybe switch ISP Or a VPN might be a good solution
