Wow you're trying to create a whole Starcraft fleet. Nice! When mods come to light in the game I can picture some interesting scenarios; custom craft, npcs, scripted campaigns, the works! I guess it remains to be seen how much mods can affect the game. Yeah that science vessel would be an interesting design! All those ships you mentioned too actually lol. Please share your progress if you do pursue designing those ships! Thanks

Sure, there u go http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=641535616 Also updated the Link in the original post. Glad you like my craft!
Hi all, here's a link to my workshop. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198058280682/myworkshopfiles/ My main ship is the Henry Mk 2, but I really like the Manta. All the ships are my own designs, they are utility ships and not particularly built to be pretty, just do the job.
My builded cruiser...or corvette...dont sure which description is correct for my ship. Contains: - huge bridge with panorama glass view - 3 pilot seats and 4 passenger seats - a captain's suite - a med bay - kitchen / bath - warp drive - hangar bay - 2 mechanic rooms weapons: - 2 pulse lasers - 2 rocket launchers - 4 bug turrets - 7 rear turrets I also share my small Interceptor, a small vessel which you can use to start from hangar bay.
I've been away for awhile, since went to a small trip to visit parents and some friends even more north from here, so apologies for a small break in the designs. However I had plenty of time to design more ships, just very little time to test and publish, so now that I've caught up with tests here's coming a few! First is my large leisure yacht, which I use for late game, when I've pretty much cleared most of the drone factories. It's not a must though, there's plenty of room for turrets or you can just use small vessels from the flight deck to do the clearing as I do. So without further ado: this large-ish yacht features advanced constructor, complete kitchen, two larger suites for living and 8 small rooms for quests, along with engineering room, well lit open mining area, deck chairs in both living deck and upper deck and the first in this game: indoor swimming pool! (water not included in price) Shape from up From the side Taking a swim! Spoiler: Bridge, life support and constructors Spoiler: Food area, plus "kitchen" Spoiler: Sundeck Blueprint link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=642849814
Here's a quick preliminary share of a simple latest design. It was originally supposed to be super barebones to let me move freely around the Red vs Blue server.... but then I got mildly ambitious. It bears some resemblance to the Dropship series I built called Schwalbe, and it has similar objectives in mind (albeit on a wider scale, traveling between different orbits). I am calling it the Super Schwalbe as a result. Steam workshop upload is coming tomorrow probably. The ship has eight frontally mounted weapons - four rocket launchers, four pulse lasers. The vessel is equipped more like a heavy bomber than a capital ship, having two minigun turrets on the top and a cannon turret at the bottom rear to cover the entrance. Capable of supporting a thirteen-man crew, albeit in somewhat spartan living conditions, the ship has refrigerators for meat, a food processor, and advanced constructors for crafting.
Dear HristFreya, Your design is wonderfull, no other words! But, i can't fly or move your ship, gravity generators aren't working! Pls don't get me wrong! Best regards,
I made a smaller scale version of my Leisure yacht, so even if you're just starting to move out on Capital ships you can do it with style (and with swimming pool). Alas the pool doesn't hold water very well so if you want to fill it you need to park the ship so that it's partially submerged to keep the water in for pool parties So this version requires barely level 10 and less time and resources than our original starter Cap ship. Still has the open mining area inside the ship as well as the swimming pool. There's also room for another 3x3 farm and constructor, plus space on top for either turret or landing Mini-Fleet ship and some additional space for cargo boxes and stuff inside. Removed all decorative beds and trinkets so this should be nice and comfy in survival as well. Almost created a light CV for survival mode. For 3k ingots you can get a hangar for 1 hover 5 big tiles width and 2 SV's, 18 tiles of growing plots, double layer of armor around the main compartment and a lot of walkable space inside and outside. http://i.imgur.com/2b28flT.jpg
Dear God....I need to mine more Magnesium just looking at all those guns. Seriously though, that thing looks beastmode.
And here's something cheap and tiny again! Let me give you the Earth-Plug™ Lite version, which is about as small and cheap as you can get with mobile base that has everything you need for starting a new life! Earth-Plug-Lite! Mining doesn't get any easier than this! I continued development from my Flying Castle towards something you might actually build in survival and this is as small and easy as you can get! All you need is few elevator blocks and you can mine straight down to bottom of the deposit, while bulk of the ship prevents creatures stumbling into your mine and turret keeps drones at bay. You can mine in every direction from inside the elevator blocks so there's no need to even touch the ground, also you can either use work lights or stick more lights into elevator shaft as you go down so no need to stop mining regardless of the weather or day/night cycle! Ship itself features everything you need for your mobile base on any planet and has ample room for expansions. You can fit second constructor, room full of cargo/ammo/fridges whatever you desire and there's even space for second 3x3 farm with grow light already installed! Plug and play! Star Wars Nebulon-B Imperial Frigate MKI This is the imperial version of the Nebulon B frigate, as it was shown in the original X-Wing Game series. The imperial version has hangar for Tie-Fighters. Nebulon B shown in the movies was a modified rebel version, where the hangar was replaced with room for medical supplies and bacta tanks. Details see Star Wars wiki. I put many effort into making this one as close as possible to the original frigate, regarding room layout, shape and size. But I added more turrets for better defending. 1:1 scale (CV) Length: 300 m Hangar room for 5 - 6 Tie fighters. 40 x fuel tanks It's moving well for it's size and weight. This ship is not made for planetary landing, just dont try it, except you are into crash testing. Workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=645828568
