    So i've stumbled onto this thread from 2018: https://empyriononline.com/threads/changing-game-options-for-dedicated-server.91910/

    I initially replyed to it without noticing it was from 2018. I've since deleted my comment. and started this new topic.

    I've been experiencing the exact same situation as of the latest 1.1.5 update the linked topic aboved.

    While on 1.1.0, I managed to modify the game option to have the difficulty ramped up for slower player progression, harder ennemy, slower construction, active max volume/cpu, etc. After the update though...no change seems to take effect.

    I'm currently using HostHavoc as a server provider.

    Edit:

    I just got home from work and went to test a bit more.
    1) Tried modifying the gameoption.yaml in the folder "Saves > Games > [name] > gameoption.yaml".
    Result: No effect.

    2) Used the HostHavoc GUI to modify the "Dedicated_Server > gameoption.yaml" file using their Text editor.
    Result: Some changes do work (i.e: Max ammount of structure)
    Result #2: Some changes do not work (i.e: Difficulty setting such as player progression set to Poor still grant 100 XP upon picking up Plant fiber, protein, etc instead of 50 XP I believe (maybe 51 XP?)

    3) I tried to manually add the following command line (without the arrows of course):
    -> EnableVolumeWeight: True
    -> EnableCPUPoints: True
    Result: game simply won't start.
    Note: I believe this is due to the following warning from HostHavoc: "After the most recent update, the Empyrion developers have made some changes to the configuration files that is causing most servers to not start after the update. If you are currently experiencing this after updating, please stop your server, open your dedicated server configuration file and re-save it. This should resolve the issue with the service not starting."

    So now i'm at a stand still.
