This and a bunch of stuff like it have been on blast for the last few dozen hours while I work on my latest abomin--err--project.
And also the Ridge Racer Type 4 OST because that game is flawless and I'll hear nothing to the contrary.

A ship of war is many things. A weapon. A home. A marvel of engineering. A white elephant. The shield of a people. The doom of another. A bearer of laurels. A tomb beneath the waves. We name them after our heroes and legends, our homes, values, and dreams. We arm them with our most wicked devices. We crew them with our own flesh and blood. They are migrant motes of sovereignty. They are arks to carry the hopes of nations.

The song I most often listen to when I build is 'Rise of the Protectorate' by Alexei Zakharov, from the X4: Cradle of Humanity soundtrack.

The very idea of space travel is madness. Trade the security of a planet we have millions of evolutionary years adapting to so you can dodge cosmic rays and asteroids in a hollow bit of glass and steel. And yet, something calls us from the shore. So we forsake the solid ground for the pursuit of riches, adventure, knowledge, and fame, and by fortune, friendship, or plunder, we shall have it. Maybe we're crazy. Few become legends because of their great sanity.

Here's something for the pirates and rapscallions of Andromeda. Build something for the hard and quick.

I have some difficulties with the broader dune science fiction as a universe, but the 2021 movie was excellent and i am looking forward to the second movie this fall. So here is some Dune music for POI building:
