God help you if you try to do this in the heat of battle while your trying to maneuver in a ship battle. How did this not get caught in the experimental phase??? The only recourse is to rebind the free look key or use a macro to handle the Ctrl + Alt signal short cut. Solution: Do not toggle free look unless the ONLY key that is press is the one bound to this function. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Press and hold Ctrl + Alt as you would toggle signal. 2) Press and hold Ctrl + Alt. Free look will toggle.
A quick fix is to remap the free look to CAPS LOCK, but that is taking some time to "relearn" the keystroke.
